Wendy's — Restaurant in San Diego

I came here on July 2nd, 2017 around 19:30 (7:30). We ordered 4 Davie's double (the person rang it as 5; I did not say anything this time as I was hungry for an extra sandwich) plus one small frosty. I drove up to the window and handed my card to them. I do not recall whether she repeated the order or not. (I used to work at a fast food restaurant and it was standard procedures to repeat the order one more time to ensure accuracy.) After I got my receipt, I pulled over to the side as I heard one of their workers told them to do just that. Silly me though, I was not told to wait on the side. I did it out of habit from my previous visits. Anyways, the burgers were good and fresh. My friend had no complaints of his frosty either. Overall review of Wendy's as a whole: We come to Wendy's often to order Davie's Double. It has quickly become my friend's favorite burger. Wendy's is probably my third favorite fast food joint after In N Out and the Habit. I do rank Wendy's higher than places like McDonalds, Burger King, Carls Jr. and Arby's. The 4 for 4 is one of their best deals although I did not order it this time. I also like the fact that I have to wait for my burger. I think this particular location is okay to me as the service is average for the drive thru and there is nothing memorable other than me pulling up on the side to wait for my order after paying on...

ZERO is my rating. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, serves old food to customers. FOOD NOT FRESH COOKED OR HOT. It MEANS NOTHING when you request fresh-cooked food. The staff DOES NOT give customers fresh food. WARNING. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE PULLING OFF. I ordered the BIGGIE BAG. I checked my burger, and it was DRIED OUT AND BLACK-BLACK. I also ordered 10 nuggets. Same thing. Dried out. UNACCEPTABLE. And forget about getting help from staff at this store. Nobody knows nothing. The staff has no concept of valuing customer business. But above all, it speaks volumes about management noncommitment to training for excellent service. BTW, I reported my AWFUL experience. Leslie called to replace my order and instructed .e to ask for Veronica. Veronica was very unprofessional and acted like she had not been advised about my replacement order. I had a most UNPLEASANT interaction with Veronica. Veronica kept asking me, What is your order? Didn't you order a single? And I had to speak up to get other part of my order, 10-piece nuggets. Veronica would not have given me the nuggets Leslie agreed to. And Leslie, your staff still refused to give me my strawberry lemonade unless I paid 50 cents extra. Tried the $1 breakfast biscuits. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit had a fair amount of bacon and a thin disk of egg. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit had a good sized "signature square" sausage patty, and a thin disk of egg. This one was the more filling of the two. The biscuits were fluffy, and both sandwiches were tasty. The eggs are about half the thickness of McDonald's Egg McMuffin eggs. Overall, a good deal for a $1 each. Update: Got a classic chicken sandwich and a spicy chicken sandwich. Both were very tasty, but they were thinner that what you get at Popeyes or KFC. Update: Got a double cheeseburger. It was good, with a fair amount of meat. Update: Got a single cheeseburger. It was good. Wendy's has the best non-charbroiled fast food burgers with good sized burger patties.
