Totally Valley🍦- The Fosters Freeze in the City of San Fernando is one of the oldest locations still around. They even have one of the last original neon signs from the 1950’s. We are currently in the planning stages of helping them raise the funds to help them restore the sign and make some upgrades to preserve this historic location. Fosters Freeze has been a California tradition since the mid 1940’s. The Fosters story begins in 1946 when George Foster opened the first Fosters Freeze in Inglewood, California. He introduced the soft serve cone and a line of soft serve desserts. Fosters Freeze 🍔 - 904 N Maclay Avenue, San Fernando

San Fernando - We love history and will be working on helping restore this vintage neon sign. The Fosters Freeze on 904 N. Maclay is one of the oldest locations still open. The new owners are great and we will be working with them to bring this beauty back to life. We will be setting up a go fund me soon to preserve this piece of Valley History! 🍦 🍔 🍟 P.S. - We will be cleaning the roof as well. 🐦 😂

The location lacked in cleanliness, staffing, and speed. Granted, it may have been an anomaly, but regardless, there were fries on the floor; I waited 15 minutes for ice cream; and noticed there was a lack of staff—one dedicating herself to multiple tasks rather than just one. I frequently visite the location in Bell, and I must say, it is MUCH better.

I recently visited Foster Freeze and was disappointed by an experience that could have been easily avoided. I ordered a specific burger, but when I got home, I realized it was made incorrectly. I called and was told I could return for a replacement meal and that I would only need to pay for the fries—not the drink. However, when I arrived, I was still charged for both.

While the employee taking my order wrote everything down correctly, the kitchen did not prepare it as requested. Mistakes happen, but when a business promises to fix an issue, they should follow through as stated. I hope management addresses this to ensure better consistency and customer service...

This place is pretty dirty on the inside. They have a letter C. They need to tear this place down. The employees don't wear hair nets while they're cooking. One employee took orders and money from me, then turned around and put lettuce on the burgers and continued to wrap the burgers in paper. Not once did he wash his hands or wear gloves. I was pretty disgusted!!! All the employees go from cleaning tables one minute, then flipping burgers and not once do they wash their hands. The kitchen is dirty looks like it doesn't get cleaned much. I'm never going...

This place, besides being an iconic place in San Fernando, has been one of my favorite burger places since I was 17! It has been a few decades! But I can not give it more stars, mainly because it is old! Inside and out! The food is great! But the atmosphere is not... welcoming? The seats are kind of dirty, and the grill needs to be redone! It just does not look appealing! But the fries and burgers are good! Shakes and parfaits are the best! Come on Fosters! Make the place sparkle again! And thanks for all those years of burger...
