Happy go Lucky — Restaurant in San Francisco

Happy Go Lucky is a popup resturant inside of 1920 Bar on Monday nights. Chef Jordan serves yummy smash burgers that are out of this world!

Was able to talk to him last Monday and he said he has been there for a few weeks, chefing up smash burgers with a smile on his face. He was so sweet and took the time to talk to us. 1920 bar has a fantastic atmosphere and a good place to watch the game and enjoy some pool.

Smash burger is quite good ($12.5 before tax / tip).

I got mine without remoulade because I don't like mayonnaise but it was still flavorful and not too dry (subbed mustard). Cheese incorporated throughout lends a lovely cheesiness. The vegetables (when you get a bite) are a delicious pairing. My main gripe is the the outer edges of the burger are much worse than the glorious center bites which I think could be solved with a better distribution of the toppings throughout the bun.
