I recently dined at Himalayan pizza & momo in San Francisco, and it was an experience worth every penny. The ambiance of the restaurant instantly transports you to the serene landscapes of Nepal with its tasteful decor and warm hospitality. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their unique take on pizza. The Nepali-style pizza, with its perfect blend of spices and fresh ingredients, offered a delightful twist to the traditional Italian classic. The crust was crispy yet tender, and the toppings were both generous and flavorful. Each bite was a symphony of tastes that left me craving for more. Equally impressive were their jhol momos, which are a must-try. These Nepali dumplings were served in a savory broth that was rich and aromatic. The jhol (soup) was a perfect complement to the tender momos, with its harmonious blend of spices and herbs. The momo skin was thin and delicate, encasing a burst of flavors that was enhanced by the flavorful broth. Each spoonful was a comforting and delightful experience. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Himalayan Pizza & Momo is a gem in San Francisco, offering an authentic taste of Nepal with dishes that are prepared with love and care. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to explore Nepali cuisine. Their pizza and jhol momo are simply exceptional and will leave you coming back for more!

We ordered this for one of our event at my workplace. We ordered mainly paneer pizza, queen veggie pizza, and tandoori pizza. The problem is, 2 of our participants were Jain, which can be very hard to accommodate. I called them back and forth to ensure they could make some adjustments for the food and Nabu and Santosh were one of the few places who’s willing to accommodate such hard request, and the only one who really went above and beyond on the request. They’re really kind and flexible! The food’s arrived on time and still warm too. Very delicious and flavorful, all of our participants provided great feedback on food. I love their paneer pizza. I think it could use more cilantro, though. But still very lovely. 10/10 will keep them for our next events!

This unassuming Tenderloin outpost serves a wide spectrum of dishes ranging from traditional Nepali, Tibetan, Indo-Chinese to Indian pizza and Italian-American. There’s something for everyone, even those who like spicy (but no heat). As far as pizza goes, the Himalayan Special is amazing (ask for extra tikka masala sauce on the side). Do not however expect a New York crust or classic Italian pie. This is fusion, and the dough yeasty — but, all good comfort. The khasi ko masu (chef signature curry) is distinctly Nepali in spice, fragrantly cutting through the gaminess of goat. The jhol momo was tasty, but could have used a bit more kick. A rare find worth a trek. A true reflection of the American melting pot: South Asian pizza with curry.

I can't stop raving about Himalayan Pizza & Momo—an absolute gem tucked away in the Tenderloin that has my heart (and my stomach)! The moment you walk in, you're met with a warm, cozy atmosphere that feels like a comforting hug from the Himalayas. It's authentic, unpretentious, and just so inviting.

First things first: the momos. Oh my, the momos. Whether steamed, fried, or drenched in spicy jhol, each bite bursts with flavor and soul-soothing goodness. The jhol momo broth is tangy, comforting, and downright addictive—the best I've had in the city.

Then there’s the Himalayan-style pizzas—crispy desserts with wildly creative toppings like tandoori chicken, paneer, tikka masala sauce, and paneer. The crust is snappy and holds up beautifully to the bold Nepalese-Indian fusion flavors. It’s comfort food with a delightful twist.

The menu is full of surprises beyond these favorites—from spicy chow mein to rich goat curry and biryani (great portions at great prices). There’s something for every craving, and plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options too.

The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind—it feels like being welcomed into someone’s home. Plus, this spot delivers the best value for price and portions in the neighborhood.

In a city overflowing with choices, Himalayan Pizza & Momo stands out by staying true to its roots and delivering bold, comforting Nepalese flavors with heart. Highly recommend for a soulful, flavorful meal—whether you're dining in, ordering takeout, or looking for...

I ordered 3 boxes of Himalayan pizza via Caviar to be ready for pick up at 4:55-5 PM on Saturday, January 4th. It was first time using Caviar and getting food from this restaurant and it was for a party that started at 6 PM. I arrive late at 5:20 and the guy working is confused about my order and said it was for later, then checks the ticket and realizes that he had the time wrong in his head. He tells me it’ll be 15 minutes and I said that I couldn’t wait because I had to be at the party that I’m hosting and still had one quick stop to make. He seemed like he didn’t care at all and said very nonchalantly to cancel the order. Well, I couldn’t because I’d placed it several hours earlier.

I send a message to the app but didn’t expect an immediate response. I get one hours later. They tried to contact the restaurant but couldn’t get through and told me there was nothing that they could do because it was a pick up order (whatever that is because Uber Eats and DoorDash are always helpful). They told me to call the restaurant and discuss refund with them. Just called the restaurant and spoke to the manager and he said to call Caviar. This is ridiculous. I told him that Caviar told me to call them, so he said to call back tomorrow (January 7th) after he speaks to another manager about what to do. Needless to say, I’m not ordering with Caviar again. Neither will I give this restaurant another chance because they seem to not care and be totally...
