Saritas Grill and Beer Salvadorean Restaurant is more than Pupusas! There are a lot of choices to pick from this delicious Salvadorean Cuisine. Experience: Partner and I went to try this new restaurant and were excited to try it out, we were expecting good food and all we have to say it excelled our expectations! 💯 on flavor, texture, food readiness and smell! • There is a nice corner spot to take great selfies by the way😁
Food: We ordered the followings: Crazy Corn(Elote loco), Crazy Pupusa (Pupusa Loca), Botana, Fresco de Arrayan(Arrayan beverage) and Chia Beverage(a mix of lemonade with chia and others ingredients really good!) •Food was so fast to get to the table! We ate the Crazy corn and it was 10/10! •Botana Was so good, it has meat, chicken, shrimps, fried tortilla, yuca(fried cassaba), lettuce, sausage and other things I have forgotten. 10/10 it was for my partner but ended up eating us two! Was a big plate fully of meat, shrimp, chicken and others good. We liked this botana because they put an extremely good amount of meats and shrimps and all the other favs and not filled with tortillas only compared to other places where they give you botana but packed with tortilla. This Botana hands down the best one we have ever had. •Last but not least Pupusas!: If you ever wonder how pupusas taste like in El Salvador, this is the one that is going to taste just like the ones from El Salvador, the taste, the smell, the quantity of filling that these pupusas have on this restaurant are the best ones that we have ever tried! •We are pupusas lovers and have been in all pupusas places in all around San Francisco and other cities in California and out of Cali and the best ones are from Sarita’s Grill and Beer. There is something about these pupusas, is the smell and taste of home made pupusas by hard worker people that know what they are doing providing the best quality on food to their clients. The masa is well cooked on point, the edges of the pupusas are incredibly good filled with food not like others pupuserias near by that are completely filled with masa instead of what it needs to be in it. Hygiene is great! These people take their business seriously and can see how clean they are. •Beverages: There is a variety of choices! My favorite is Arrayan and my partners favorite is Chia. Both of them were on point 10/10 just like how they make it in El Salvador, the authentic saldadorean flavor is in this restaurant. Conclusion: •This is the best salvadorean places to eat, prices are great, food taste is amazingly good, environment is clean and smell good, really nice decorations around, music is great, family owners are amazing and kind. I prefer this Salvadorean much better than pasitas or balompie or any other salvadorean restaurant here in the bay.
Thinking on coming back again? •Of course yes! I am surprised of how good this food is, this is a gem in all mission district and I dare myself to say in all bay area. Thanks Nathalie, Ashley and family for this...

We tried only three dishes Guacamole and Chips Yucca and Pork Grilled Hen with rice.
From the top. The guacamole was so heavy and thick and served up a chip that tasted and looked like a Doritos chip. Sad and not tasty at all. The yucca root was nice, crisp yet tender and the pork cooked to perfection but that dish misses a simple dipping sauce. For example a lime with pepper dipping sauce would go along way and make the dish taste lighter. The grilled Hen, mmmh I think that hen died of thirst as it was about as dry as you could serve up a bird of any kind. The rice was alright but the veggies...sad . Service is alright and friendly, I kinda felt sorry for our waiter as it seemed she was working the front and the back and the kitchen...
Read moreSarita's is the best Salvadorian food in San Francisco. We have lots and lots of salvi restaurants but this one is my new favorite. The flavors are the best. Pupusas are sooooo good, my favorite part is you can hear the clapping of them being made right after you order. Their soups are deliciously authentic. The breakfast scrambles are filling and flavorful. The frescos are alllll yummy. And the plátanos fritos with frijoles are my icing on the cake for spot on deliciousness. This place is a must try, especially for y'all who have been going to the same ol spots for decades, bring the familia, it will...
