Galleria Boheme — Attraction in San Francisco

Tibor does not deserve a "zero". I am a father who paid for his daughter's wedding couple of weeks ago. She is my first born and money was not an issue. Tibor, my daughter and her fiance had agreed on a price of $21K to accomodate for 120 people. We ended up with 170 reservations. He doubled the price on them shortly before the wedding to $41,500. He indicated that he would provide Photographers, videographers, wedding planner, water, sodas, alcohol, agreed upon appetizers and dinner, along with full controlled organization. We were ok with the price granted everything agreed on would be satisfied. The location of the church was spectacular. EVERYTHING ELSE was Desasterous. Photographers showed up more than 2 hours late: presents and Souvenirs remained in the boxes instead of being placed on the tables: appetizers were too little, and placed mixed up on a Single plate; drinking water ran out early; dinner showed up two hours late, much lower quatity, cold, and missing many agreed upon food items; more than half of the guests did not have food to eat, enough that many had to go to in n out to eat; wedding planner did not organize anything because she was hired by him just few days before the wedding; i personally went down to the kitchen area looking for the food as tens of guests started to complain to witness his staff eating the food; he hired only 4 Servers (his unqualified friends) instead of 16 as agreed; he admitted that the food was little and instead of hiring a professional videographer, he himself took just one Clip of the "ceremony". When i comfronted him about the situation, he threatened me. At the end of the evening the mother of the groom had a confrontatión with him as well, he started yelling at her. Bottom line, it has taken me over 10 days now calming down my daughter and her husband whose special day has been ruined. We have yet to see the short clip video that he took and the photographs. He brought the cake without the "topper" that my daughter made with her hands on her special day. Totally ridiculous. The main purpose of this review is to protect future brides, grooms and parents from falling in this guy's traps. One big mistake my daughter made was paying him in full before...

I wasn't going to leave a review on galleria Boheme, but in light of recent actions by the owner, Tibor, I feel compelled to tell the truth about this place.

Where to start........I attended my best friends wedding here, and the place was beautiful.

there were some issues that really stood out to me during the event and ill start with those.

The food was substandard, flavorless goulash, and the tiniest portions, due to there not being anywhere near enough to serve the whole wedding party. the service was ....the owner walking around with a pot and a ladle scooping a soupy mess on to plates, my "portion" consisted of 2 half inch cubes of beef, and three thin slices of small potatoes. my fiancé missed out completely as she was in the restroom during the only pass of the table the server made with his pot. there wasn't any salad left when he got around to my side of the table with it, and apparently there was some kind of bread, but I never saw it, even on other peoples plates.

the band that was previewed and promised was not the band that was playing. they weren't horrible, but they weren't the awesome band the bride and groom had wanted, and were promised.

being the best man, and official witness for my best friend on his wedding paperwork, I was privy to the contract between him, his bride, and the ownership of galleria Boheme. In that contract it clearly stated that there would be a professional wedding photographer, there was not. during the cocktail hour, the ceremony and reception the only "photographer" was the owner, Tibor, taking pictures on his older iPhone. this wedding took place at the beginning of August, until last week, (its November 12) had not received any of his wedding photos, he does finally have a few, but the owner is holding the rest hostage until my friend signs some paperwork saying he won't sue for breech of contract. I have seen the text exchanges. The owner, Tibor, HAS PUBLICLY POSTED MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING PICTURES ONLINE WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE BRIDE OR GROOM. he is trying to intimidate my friends , after flagrantly not delivering of contractual agreements. If I could give this guy negative...

I recently had my wedding here. It was a beautiful location and the wedding was amazing, but only because our wedding planner worked on overdrive to make up for Galleria Boheme's broken promises, which caused months of unnecessary stress. Several important items that were in the contract were not fulfilled. The owner repeatedly made promises that were not fulfilled and aggressively reacted most of the time when we asked him about the status of these. This made us very uncomfortable. The most important of these was a contractual agreement that a professional photographer would be included. Instead, the owner took photos with his phone and then refused to provide them after months of more broken and empty promises.
