Oy Oysters — Restaurant in San Gabriel

I’ve never been to this food hall and the selection of restaurants were awesome. I chose this spot and it was an excellent choice.

I ordered their lobster roll and their uni pasta. The lobster roll was delicious and flavorful, I prefer a thinner bread for easier biting but still an awesome roll. The uni pasta was phenomenal, it took time to make it but it was well worth the wait. The uni pieces is what set it over the top and it was perfectly cooked/seasoned. I highly recommend the uni pasta but it’s pretty pricey.

I enjoyed my Oy Oysters experience! I tried 2 of each of their 3 options that day. The oysters were very fresh and had just been flown down from Washington. They were on the salty side (because Washington oysters are saltier) which made the sauces make sense. The sauces are sweet if you try by themselves. I found they balance out the saltiness nicely. One had red wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar and there was one more in forgetting… the person working was nicely and friendly and super informative. Great way to feel like you’re traveling right...

The place is supposed to be part of a food court with different vendors. Oy Oysters should change it's status for their customers. It is not temporary close as stated. I do not see any stands there belonging to them. I have been check a status updated for...
