Delgado's Restaurant — Restaurant in San Jacinto

I had read an article in the Shopper Magazine on Delgado's and it looked good . My family and I tried it this Friday night. We arrived at 7:45 at this simple and quaint restaurant, it was not crowded and we were greeted and set at a booth right away. The first thing i noticed was a couple of young men cleaning the tables and floors., this place is extremely clean. the server was polite and friendly, he told us about their special which was a really good value. the chips and salsa are all made on site and are the best I have had in years! reminded my husband and iI of a place we had gone to as children in LA. Went to Delgado’s in Friday, April 18, 2025. We ordered (2) orders of Shrimp Fajitas Combination plates and a kids bean burrito plate with French fries. We ordered 2 Cokes which are refillable. We substituted side salad for beans since the items come with rice and beans. They offer you warm tortilla chips with a delicious homemade salsa when you sit down. The location is in downtown San Jacinto in a mini strip mall. Don’t let the location fool you, the restaurant is clean, the server was extremely helpful and they can seat about 75-100 people at capacity. Great place, great food, and excellent service. Hector and his family and staff make each dining experience as pleasurable, and delicious as it gets. Personally i would give 100 🌟's if i could . I eat there at least 2-3 weeks out of the month. I always run into friends and family almost every time i go totally un planed. The " Cheers" of family owned resteraunts. Once you visit a few times your drinks are delivered without order or asked by memory.
