I went to this location, which I usually go to the one at Sanderson and Florida, and got some tacos and curly fries. I got them to take home from my long day. I only live a couple of miles away, so it was convenient from where I was coming from. The package each of the tacos were slipped into were soaked through with the grease. The cheese in the tacos was " fully " melted into the meat. The lettuce in the tacos was " fully " cooked. This can mean 1 thing and only 1 thing; these were left over tacos. I have had tacos from many of their locations through the years, and this is the only time that this has occurred. Yes, I did not check out what I ordered and did not go back to let them know. I have never had the occasion to need to check the tacos because this has never ever happened. I did not go back, because they were not that expensive and my time was limited. So next best thing; leave a truthful review to alert others to check their orders or just do not come to this location. My curly fries were good, so that is why they got 2 stars and not a 1 star review. The staff was very nice while serving me, but not so nice to give me over cooked food that should have been tossed. I looked to check out the recent reviews; a lot of 1 and 2 star reviews lately. I see that someone is responding to these reviews with their apologies, but it looks like noting is changing. Read moreExtremely rude service. I went to go dine in to do a take out order and it took over 15 minutes to get my order. The problem with this is the cook didn't even start with my order until another customer told me I was already waiting past 10 minutes. So thanks to the other kind customer she let them know I still haven't received my food. Once the manager was finally told she let the cook know that my food wasn't made yet. So the cook finally started making the food and it probably took about 2 minutes to cook the food and the nice lady customer told me to check my food because it is going to be undercooked. Guess what it was undercooked, so I let one of the order takers know it was undercooked. But, this was the problem whom I believe was the manager rudely took the food and tossed followed by telling the cook to make another. From here on out it took a downturn. Once the food was done the manager rudely tossed the food on the counter and walked away. So I asked what's with the attitude because if it wasn't for another customer how long would i have been waiting for my food. Thus, after asking this and asking for corporate number the manager took my receipt left the returned money on the counter and straight up told me we are a franchise not corporate. Read moreJust tonight. It takes like 15 minutes before a car can leave the menu board ordering in the drive thru. A lot of cars left already. There was a black Jeep SUV who took like 25 mins in the menu board.
This Jack n the Box in N State is faster than the one in Esplanade. But one thing I experienced. The young lady wearing the gloves. I paid her with cash, she held the money with the gloves. The same gloves she used to get the order and even to close the lid of the drink. She even pushes the lid using her palms with the gloves on. I bursted out. Unbelievable. I asked her if she knew why she was wearing the gloves. She was even clueless. Her eyes went big and not knowing what to say. The other young lady, a little bit bigger than her, came up. Then I asked her, does she even know why she is wearing the gloves. That day and until now, I believe. They were the same gloves until they have to change it. So meaning to say, the same gloves that is used to get your money, cash or bills and the same gloves to prepare your food and drinks. They maybe thinking the gloves are used to protect them but how about the customers? It should be change everytime after receiving money or anything from the customer. But I guess they are trying to save gloves. Hope they don't have a grade of A. Or I will report it...
