You know the food is good when they have a small menu. Incredibly friendly staff too.
Durian Avocado Shake - You can tell there's real durian in there. Impressive.
Bun mam - not familiar with how it's supposed to taste, but definitely tastes better than it smells.
Bun rieu - A full flavor with lots of toppings. They don't skimp on the meat.
Chicken wings - Really crunchy, a nice amount of seasoning and flavor
Thai tea - tastes like the real tea leaves. They do this one right.
Bo kho mi - the broth is full of beef, carrot, and onion flavor.
Reason I'm deducting a point for atmosphere: the music doesn't really fit the vibe. The place has the charm of a family owned Vietnamese restaurant that prioritizes good food, but the music choice it more what you'd find in a boba milk tea shop. Read moreI was craving some spicy bun so I ordered bun bo hue to go. Husband picked up so I can’t speak to the vibe/interior/parking but service was great. It was fast and food was packed well.
Echoing something another review said, ingredients are fresh but soup base is on the sweeter side. The sweeter soup base made it harder to eat a whole serving (which may be a plus? Leftover was great).
