Burger King — Restaurant in San Jose

I dont know what to expect, but my son works for an ambulance company, and understanding there job they work long hours and have to get food when they can, and sometime that may be at night. burger king was open, and him and his partner had and wanted to got to burger king at his location. granted it was late at night and the walking was closed. drivr thru was open but , the ambulance could not go thru do to a the hight. they tried to see if maybe the could still order. they tried several attempts to get someones attention by either going to the door waving, or even calling the store number. some one did see his partner but ingored them. i can see where this may see crazy. but they did park in plain view with their ambulance to show they were not just some random people. (i am also noting that im not trying say just because the are ambulance workers they get any kind of special traitment). when they called to they did finaly got to speak to someone , and my son said "we are and ambulance and are not able to fit, could we still try to order food?, person replys, yes. then putsthe phone down and hangs up. hey tried calling back but not pick up. they gave up their efforts.

that was their experance, it a shame it could of been handled much better. Either kindly denying them and explaiing that they can, per company rules. Or have rules posted somethere. and or even showing some kind of humanity to offer someone trying to get some food, who can not go thru...

If you are black do not go to this location. Yep it's 2022 and managers are still incredibly racist even at fast food locations.

Went in to pick up an Uber eats order and the manager thought I didn't speak Spanish and said several times that she wasn't going to serve me because she was tired of talking to black people today. Her coworker asked her in Spanish why she was ignoring me and she said because i was "a prieta" (dark-skinned person). It was barely 10 AM. And the sad thing is I'm actually Cuban! I understood every word and just listened to her spew hatred while ignoring me completely.

I've never in my life made a corporate complaint and today I called and made a complaint specifically against her and no one else working there at the time. Neither one of us get paid enough to be jerks. I refuse to deal with racism. It's literally coffee and greasy food but if you want to use that as an excuse to call me names, then I can use that as an excuse to complain to your management. Best believe I'll be escalating the issue with the local corporate...

This is one time after reading the reviews I should have aborted this Burger King so take my advice And pay attention to the reviews and ratings and Avoid this Burger King at all cost my husband and I went there at 9:30 p.m. the lobby is not supposed to close until 10:00 p.m. however the doors were locked my husband was told to go thru the drive thru we are in a big trtruc and can not go to the drive-through when I called the store... the guy who answered the phone said he was general manager all he kept saying was that he was extremely busy... he was extremely busy extremely. That all he would say I ask what is name was and again he said we are extremely busy ...never again will I visit this location and would not recommend it to anyone. That Was and is unacceptable. But I should have listened to the reviews after I read them I guess I can chalk this up as a lesson learned.... That's what I get for giving them the benefit...
