Had a confusing and unpleasant experience here and felt compelled to share in case it’s helpful to others.
Upon entry, unclear where to form line or approach to order. Small sign reads “ONE LINE for EVERYTHING.” Hopped in what we hoped was the line, and read the only menus we could see – 2 large screens on the wall. Drink menu kept rotating through images, making it hard to read.
When an employee approached to take our order, was told to order sandwiches and drinks from the cashier. (So much for one line for everything, I guess?) Went to cashier to try again, requested a chicken salad sandwich. Am abruptly told no sandwiches until 11. Mind you it was 10:43, not crowded, and I could see the chicken salad pre-made in a case. Also advertised on the menu screen without any mention of 11.
Waited until 11 and tried again. Same cashier asks me which one I want. Confused, I tell her the only one listed on the menu (?) She then flips through a laminated pamphlet showing me multiple chicken salad options (where were these menus before we reached the cashier, and why aren’t these options listed on the screen?) Anxious with a line forming behind me, I quickly pick one and pay.
Get to the pick-up counter to find my drink and am (again abruptly) told food pick-up is at another counter on the opposite end of the room. Confusing again, but OK. Get there to find they’ve made a salad instead of a sandwich. Older woman agrees to make the sandwich but seems impatient, and explains that if I say "chicken salad" they hear the key word salad. Not really sure how else I'm supposed to order a chicken salad sandwich (??) I definitely said sandwich, both times I tried to order from the same cashier. It took her under 60 seconds to slap the ingredients together (apparently impossible at 10:43?). I thanked her but felt defeated and frustrated at this point.
After all of that, the food was just okay. Disappointing at such a high price point. Employees seemed unhappy and unfriendly. Outdoor seating is nice and iced tea was good. Left wishing we’d...
Read moreCame in today and tried them out cuz of all the good reviews, they did not disappoint. When I first walked in I was taking lots of pictures of the pastries, cakes and sandwiches. One of the servers asked if she could help me? I replied I'm just taking pictures right now and laughed see just shot me a dirty look and went away, well excuse me... she gets a fail!! After checking out the whole place and looking at the menus I decided I wanted to order the tri-tip sandwich and wifey ordered a turkey cranberry with brie cheese sandwich. (Same server took the order) (can I help you?...no smile) When we got the sandwiches I was amazed how delish they looked! (better then the pics on the menu) (like most of you I eat with my eyes 1st, my eyes told me num num num!!!) See pics. My try tip came on freshly baked, perfectly crunchy bread....and let me tell you folks it did not disappoint! Oh so good. The sandwich had a light Rosemary buttery garlic flavor oh my gosh it was just so good!!! The sandwich also came with a pickled cabbage and arugula salad. Again I eat with my eyes 1st.... honestly as good as it looked it tasted better!! I will be back for sure. Unfortunately I really wanted to give them 5 stars but due to the nasty look that got shot at me I have to take off one. Hopefully this review reaches them and they will tell the employees that costumers love smiles and the cost of a smile is free, except there is a good chance you will get a bigger...

But she was very rude and showed bad attitude and was sour face just because my mom. which is 80 yrs old. and has difficulty walking due to her Parkinson's, sat on the handicap table, because the place was full at that time, and there was no other table available. But the lady manager immediately confronted us and told us we cannot use that table because its for handicap only. I told her that my mom is handicapped but clearly she does not know the meaning of the word, just because my mom was not using her wheelchair , she just decided from parking lot hold my hand and walk to the cocala and she wasn’t on wheelchair, The manager not allowed us to use that table and there wasn’t any empty place to sit and after we argue little bit and I told her my mom is handicap and we will use this table. SHE told me you are very rude. And we didn’t sit there anymore and we walked out ( I am a nurse and in my profession, i always provide DIGNITY and RESECT to all my patents and their families). But clearly this lady manager does not know the meaning of those aforementioned words.)SHE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING A MANAGER OR IN ANY WORK THAT PERTAINS TO SERVING PEOPLE, BECAUSE SHE HAS NO PEOPLE SKILLS AND MANNERS.
