These are just cake mix cookies one of the easiest cookies to make, in fact if you quickly make them yourself you can have any size you choose with any variation. What a racket, they only make a few different types of cookies each day. Can you even imagine how much money they're making especially since they're charging $5 a cookie. Compare that to a donut shop, (or bakery) that offers you endless types of donuts and only charges you a fraction of the price. And they have to go through the trouble frying it letting it rise, a lot of labor has gone into that product. If you quickly whip up a batch of cookies yourself you also won't get all the preservatives, corn syrup, and whatever hydrogenated trans fat heart stopping ingredients they can think of throwing in. Most of us try to keep our cookies from turning out like muffin tops because some of us like chewy, gooey cookies. Not them, it's the same basic batter for all of the cookies. As for the taste and texture, don't get me wrong I like butter/ fat, but after eating just a half a cookie I had a thick coating of congealed grease on the roof of my mouth. It felt and tasted like I just ate a big spoonful of vegetable shortening. If that's your idea of delicious, you need to try my cookies. Their product would taste meh compared to a delectable homemade product. Honestly, Pepperidge Farm cookies are far better. And I can eat almost a HALF A BAG of Pepperidge Farm cookies for the same calories as a HALF of a one, single, solitary Crumbl(Crumbly) cookie! Oh I almost forgot, the best big cookies in the world (from a bakery) are in Los Gatos at the bakery Icing on the cake. You owe it to yourself to...
Read moreThis location is super inconsistent with other locations and completely undercooks their cookies so they’re raw and hard to eat until the next day. Plus, the 4-pack is $2 more expensive in San Jose compared to every other location.
The cookies are goopy and fall apart too easily so you have to wait for them to set for a while to eat them without them making a mess. Don’t get me wrong, I love a gooey, fresh baked cookie, but they’re not gooey, they are raw and goopy.
Cookies are my favorite dessert and I’m not picky normally, but the cookies here really taste like raw dough unlike the the several other Crumbl locations I’ve been to throughout California, Utah, and Oregon. I’ve been to this location three times since they’ve opened and the cookies always break apart into mush and taste raw.
Also, they add too much almond flavor to their sugar cookies here when compared to the other locations. I’d rather drive to the other Crumbl locations since I have to wait the same amount of time that it would take for the cookies to be edible.
On a positive note, the staff is kind and efficient, but I think their rush to quickly get cookies out is affecting quality and just an extra minute of baking would do wonders. Consistency is key in a chain business and this location...

After seeing numerous ads for Crumbl on Facebook I decided to place a preorder last night. I ordered a box of six cookies- classic sugar, Neapolitan, frozen hot chocolate, milk chocolate chip and cinnamon swirl. I also ordered a cookie cutter to go along with my cookies. I decided since it was our first time trying this spot out why not order some ice cream as well. I ordered raspberry cheesecake, brownie fudge, snickerdoodle, cookie dough crunch.
I set my pick up time for 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm on 01/14/22 which happened to be their Grand Opening.
I checked in on the app and patiently waited.
My cookies came out in a timely manner.
They forgot my cookie cutter so I ran back and they gave me one.
They are located in the Lucky Shopping Center and next door to Five Guys burgers.
The cookies were hot and they were fresh. I wasn’t a fan of their classic sugar- it was way to doughy and undercooked tasting. Their ice cream wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great- wouldn’t order it again (there’s huge competition in the ice cream game here in the SF Bay Area).
Good customer service and delicious cookies make this a winner in my Google Notebook!
