Great spot for comfort Nepali and north Indian food. We've been here multiple times and also got take outs. Their taste has been very good and consistent.
Chicken lollipop: I must say every restaurant has it's own take on this entree. The ones served here are on the dry side and very delicious in their own right. They taste different from the Indian restaurants. Served with two dipping sauces.
Chicken hot and sour soup: Almost tastes home made. They have a generous amount f both veggies and chicken. Great for chilly days and a sore throat as well. Just the right amount of tangy and I dare say has a weird ability to calm you down. Must try!
Momos: If I did not know better I'd say this is how they ply their trade. I could write a whole review about this section. We've tried all their chicken momos. Each one is delectable. HOwever if you want it all just go for the titanic jhol momo. It is served in a boat shaped serving platter with momos dipped in sauce. Can't go wrong with this. Apart from the titanic momo you can chose between 5 and 10 pieces for the rest on the menu.
Tandoori Chicken full: It is not actually the "full bird" We got two whole quarters. It is not the best we had but nevertheless tasty.
Chicken Entrees: You can't go wrong with their Butter chicken and chicken korma. We've had both for dine in as well as take out. Second helpings are inevitable. Chicken munchurian gravy tasted exactly as I remember having in India. There are less than a handful of places in the bay area where I can say that.
Chicken Biriyani: This was the only underwhelming entree we've come across here.
Tandoori Butter roti: They do no have this on their online menu but it is on the dine in menu at the restaurant. You have to insist on getting roti instead of naan. We were served naan instead of roti during one of our visits.
They also serve a small cup of free tea before 9 pm.
I've gone with 5 stars despite the shortcomings mentioned above as I believe this spot is definitely worth a shot.
Ambience: Small place with 10 tables including 3 booths; all indoors. Neat, tidy and clean. The hosts are very hospitable and friendly. Quantity: Generous Parking:...

Read moreI definitely thought that this place is overrated. I had extremely high hopes coming in, but I walked away with pretty mediocre food. One of the good things about this restaurant is that it is open till late in night, and so when everything else was closed, you could still come here. We visited on a Sunday night, and the place was quite full. The dining room itself is quite modest, both in size and appearance. It is very brightly lit with multiple photos of the owner as well as famous celebrities who have visited the restaurant. The tables were packed together and felt a little crowded, but I honestly did not mind. They got started with two sauces and poppadoms. The sauces were honestly great.
We started with the non-veg starter platter, which had chicken shrimp, lamb, and salmon, and honestly it was pretty mid. The dishes lacked flavour overall. We also got the momos which were very good and flavourful. I definitely recommend them.
For the main course, we got garlic cheese naan as our bread and it was so good. It was the best thing I had on the menu. We got the butter chicken, which was very average and the Aachari chicken, which was below average. The Dal Makhni was pretty good while the mushroom curry was again below average.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad dinner, but I have definitely visited better Indian places around . Also, the food took forever to come. But apparently, that’s a thing with...
