Costco Food Court — Restaurant in San Jose

5 stars because you can't beat the price. I have had better so the food gets 4 stars. Service depends on the worker at the counter but they are always so busy because there is a long line of people. If you catch it at times when it is not so busy the workers just seem like they are going through the grind with a few that would smile and greet you. When it is so busy there is no place to sit and people's carts are taking up walking space. Inconsiderate people don't throw away their own garbage or clean up after they leave a mess. Sometimes you will need to clean the table since there is no where else to sit. Taking it to go eliminates some of this hassle but your food is not as hot.

Not sure if this is still true but before you did not need a membership. You tell the people at the door when entering that you are just going to the food court and they let you in to go that direction and not into the main...

This has to be one of the worst run Costco food courts. The food is great, but I don't think they could run this more inefficiently if they tried. Be prepared to wait and to be frustrated. Call in a pizza order for pickup at a certain time? Doesn't matter. You're gonna have to wait as if you just bought it there and then. No separate line for pizza pickup either. You have to wait while 20 people in front of you get their hot dogs made, even if by chance your pizza is sitting right there on the shelf. If it's not, then you can go wait in a pizza line, but you better not go there first on your own. Please for the love of God implement a number based system I have seen at other Costcos. It's amazing what can be achieved with a new system and probably 1 hour...

Over crowed, parking is horrible especially after a certain time of day. People are very rude there. I only went in for a rotisserie chicken and nothing. This is the 2nd time this has happened. With the overwhelming amount of people that shop there, it just seems to get worse every time I go. The gas station is out of control!!! This Costco should never have been placed in this location due to already existing traffic conditions because it sits right next to the Post Office and with small shopping centers located in proximity to it, shopping there is made extremely difficult. I realize and understand that you go there to buy in bulk but sometimes I just need to get in and get out! Unpleasant with a few visits lately but otherwise, I love...
