NCM Cafe — Restaurant in San Jose

Okay, but why is nobody talking about this cafe? This is literally one of the most unique cafe I have been to, and this is very silicon Valley coded. When I went in, there was literally nobody, and I mean nobody in the cafe. Then who is making your coffee, you ask? Good question and the answer is a robot. It’s a bit dystopian, even for me, I’m not going to lie. I went in placed an order on the tab and then watched the robot for two minutes, making my drink. It was definitely a mix of horror and fascination. Horror for the part that are we doing away with human interactions altogether. They have interesting coffee flavours, and apparently their flagship coffee is a fish sauce, coffee. I wasn’t brave and have to try it, and I wanted with a standard salted caramel with a foam on top and it was delicious. The space itself is pretty new and pretty big. It’s modelled like a coworking space. There is plenty of seating as well as breakout rooms. Looks like the perfect place to grab a coffee and work. They also have board games if you want to play. There’s also a podcast studio that I could see on the second floor, but I did not really get a chance to check it out. I will definitely be back again, and I will also bring other people just to show them a robot making...

What an incredible experience! This was my first time seeing a robot make my drink, and it was super cool and fun to watch. The entire process was smooth and fascinating—definitely a unique touch that sets this place apart. Beyond the innovative technology, the atmosphere is fantastic. The space is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has a modern yet cozy vibe, making it a great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done.

Now, onto the drinks—absolutely delicious! The coffee and tea are top-notch, with bold, authentic flavors that truly shine. If you’re a fan of Vietnamese coffee and drinks, this is a must-visit spot. The quality and taste exceeded my expectations, and you can tell they put a lot of care into crafting each drink.

To top it all off, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great drinks and such a warm, inviting atmosphere. Plus, the convenient location and ample parking make it even better.
