Five Guys — Restaurant in San Jose

Writing on behalf of my GF & myself. Came in just for milkshakes. We were the only people in line so it wasn't busy. We get to the register to a completely unenthused worker. To her credit she doesn't get paid enough so I understand. Then we order and she becomes rude for no reason. We were polite saying thank you and please. Her tone and demeanor were terrible. So she asks us if we want a receipt and my GF says "no thank you" then the employee says very rudely "well you need one for the order number" and slides it over. Like why the eff did you even ask!? AND she is obviously the one that is making the shakes so it didn't matter anyway. She finished and calls out the number then turns and walks away. Anyone could have just picked them up. Originally I was giving this a 2/5, but in the middle of writing this I feel like the lack of accountability deserves a 1/5 plus you absolutely need some measure of customer service when the burgers are just alright for...

Really upset with the service I was given today. I usually go to this location because it’s the closest to me and I never have any issues. I got there at 5:30 just ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries nothing else. As time goes on, I see that people who came in after me already received their order. I asked what about ticket 78, since they are already on 81. The guy gave me an attitude and said he doesn’t have my ticket and the. He said my order will be right out. I understand it’s a busy Friday night but I had to wait again by now they are on 91. So I ask again hey what about ticket 78. And then he said oh that’s right! And then they started making my order. I waited a whole hour for my order. The people who had ordered right after and even 20-30 after me all got their food. Really disappointed that I was the unfortunate one that this happened to. It honestly takes skill to be this poor of a location. I was a supervisor at a five guys for 2 years, the standards of this location are awful. In almost 3 years of going to this location, not one time has my order ever been correct. Somehow, specifically, no matter who is working, they forget BBQ sauce every single time. In addition to the BBQ, my fries are almost never made well done when asked. This particular time, not only did they charge me $2 for extra bacon I didn't ask for, but it took 22 minutes for my burger and fries to come out. It seems the fries were messed up, because my burger was cold by the time the fries came out and I had to seemingly remind them of my order. I took it to go, only to come home to it missing BBQ (as always) and not well-done fries as asked. This location needs to work on it's quality control, as I will be driving all the way to Almaden from now on just to have a decent five...
