I ordered through the app and requested my order be ready to pick up at 1:15 - about 20 minutes after I placed the order. When I arrived at the location at 1:18, my order was not ready. When I asked about the status of my order, the man making the food rudely answered and said there was a long line and I would have to wait. To which I responded that I requested my food to be ready at 1:15 - and placed the order at 12:55, so I should not have to wait much longer seeing as I ordered before everybody else in the queue. He was able to get me my order about 2 minutes later, which I appreciated. I thanked him, told him to have a nice day and left.
Once I got home, I realized that my order was completely wrong. I had added a slice of cheese (for an extra cost) to a sandwich and requested no mayo and no tomato on the sandwich and the sandwich was made per their recipe - with mayo, tomato and no cheese. This was particularly infuriating because 1) I was already home and was not going to go back to the location and 2) I felt that the man who put together my order made it wrong on purpose because I questioned him about the status of my order.
I called the Panera location I visited so that I could talk to a manager, but the phone rang non-stop for 12 minutes. 12 MINUTES!?!? That is insane. While still on the line with the store location, I called the corporate customer service line and they were very accommodating but that still doesn't change that the meal I wanted to enjoy then and there was incorrect and inedible (I...
Read moreFOOD: Shorting meals! Be sure you double check your Togo orders before leaving! On multiple occasions our orders were short. Containers of Mac ncheese, soups, or salad. Arriving home with multiple orders shorted is literally taking money from the consumer. Nobody should have to return to complain. The consumer should be able to trust the establishment with their orders. SERVICE: Every time I walk in to a Panera I see employees standing behind the counter looking at me to walk over to their Kiosk to place my order. I get the need for kiosks but the feeling of hey it’s up to you to place your order, over there, not here! Blah on their customer service! ATMOSPHERE: I like Paneras vibe. If it weren’t for all the employees huddling in the back and not interacting or providing simple service such as not cleaning the tables, chairs, and booths. CONCLUSION: The menu options are great and the food is good. With the correct team in place, I truly believe this Panera location will do much better with their SALES, this only comes from SERVICE and TRUST. I look forward to when Panera gets back on its feet. Until then it’s a 1...
Read moreFriendly service, clean, and good selection. I've been to this casual restaurant and while you should definitely check your to go order before leaving, the food is consistently good and served at a good temperature. I've had my to go order wrong a few times, but they've always been sincere about making it right.
If you've never been to Panera before, they serve a variety of mostly soup, salad, sandwiches, and pastries with coffee, mochas, sodas, and some surprisingly good iced teas. Predictably, sandwiches and panini tend to feature the bread rather than the meat, which is responsible for the -1 star. If you are looking for a sandwich stuffed with lots of meat, Togo's, Erik's, or Don's Deli all have better proportions, but the variety at Panera, not to mention their Broccoli cheddar soup and Mac and cheese keep me coming back. Yes, their Mac and Cheese is worthy of adult consideration, especially...
