Manley Donuts — Restaurant in San Jose

The old Asian lady was rude, she shouldn't run the business, she was quite frustrated when I stopped by 1 minute before ( 1:14pm ) their pick up time on TooGoodToGo App ends (1:15pm ) while their hour on Google shows 2pm. She said " please come earlier next time " Omg... Honestly I was shocked when I heard that but I was polite enough to say sorry this was my first time using the app and I drove so fast to the store asap after purchasing through the app. We love helping reduce food waste and paid 33% of original price to get their donuts the end of the day instead of they will throw them away. She seemed to look down on people who buy their donuts waste. I know it's good to save some money and foods for both of us so we should appreciate each other instead of having that bad attitude. I paid for the donuts, it's not free.She will lose more customers if she doesn't change her bad attitude, her personality. I won't definitely be back so I won't " come earlier next time " because it's very disappointed. Their service 1 star, their donuts 3 stars so that's why I rated 2 stars...

Manley Donuts is the quintessential local donut shop but raises the bar with the simple idea that everyone who comes through the door is family. Maria (owner) and Elizabeth treat each customer like a regular. Just after a visit or two, they will remember call you by name, remember your regular order and engage in pleasant conversation that will send you on your way with a swing in your step that the world is still filled with wonderful people. Then there are the donuts . . . Traditional but delicious! Try and get the French Cruellers before they run out, or even better, if you're planning an event order the French Crueller Bites (think "donut holes" for cruellers). You will be the champion of the morning coffee set. And the apple fritters, my faves, are crazy delicious!

They have breakfast sandwiches, a full coffee menu, grab and go selections, and giant, super sized donuts for that "special event."

The Asian lady that runs this place is a complete nutcase. She is mean, nasty and has a vicious attitude. She tried to rip me off on the price of the doughnuts. When I asked for a cinnamon twist, she went for the smallest one and I asked her for a slightly bigger one behind it. She said it would be more money for the bigger one. I asked her why was it mixed in with the others, she told me to go somewhere else. I told her to keep her doughnuts and her bad attitude.
