Nick The Greek — Restaurant in San Jose

This was my first visit, and I ordered the beef/lamb gyro bowl with Nick's fries—it was absolutely delicious. The portion size was generous and well worth the price. The restaurant was clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere.

Yasmine, the staff member who assisted me, was friendly and helpful. She recommended the gyro bowl, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. My order was packed neatly with the correct utensils, and everything was prepared exactly as requested. I only waited about 5–10 minutes, which was very reasonable.

Food was good as always, though the soup was a little bland. Unfortunately, the very young, VERY impatient white kid who took our order completely killed my appetite. Tapping a cup on the register while impatiently asking what we wanted to order. Please note friends, that their internet was out, the marquee screens were dark, and my guests had never been to a Nick the Greek before. This was my first time at Nick the Greek and it just might be my last time. The food was decent, but they shortcut you on the protein portions. My biggest problem was that it was lacking authenticity. The service from cashier Dennise, oh my. She didn't want to give me her name because she was quite unfriendly, rude, and was in her phone anytime I has to ask a question.
