Had a after funeral meal here couple days ago - probably had 50 people there and we had the reservation set couple days prior to the date. When we arrived there was only 1 server ready to serve all 50 people which started the whole chaos of: food tasting horrible, not providing the enough side dishes, food becoming cold, not providing rice for 20 minutes after food came out, not having water, food coming out super late (took more than 30 minutes for a Galbitang, which usually takes less than 10 minutes), server sighs every time we even try to ask for a small favor (such as to bring salt and pepper to the table) and so many other 100 issues that I can’t even list all here. The owner must have thought that he would make a lot of money by cutting cost of having more servers to serve 50 people; and i guess it worked out as he planned. But I do not think anyone who was there on that day are willing to go back there and about 40 of 50 people that were there were from the local area and we couldnt be more terrified on how they treated us. I think the experience from here was one of the worst services and food that I have had for my whole entire life. Thanks to the owner of this restaurant, Korean Palace, for the experience and letting me appreciate the services from other restaurants. Not going...

We had a fantastic dinner at this Korean spot in San Jose. The beef bulgogi and tofu soup were both flavorful and satisfying without being overly salty. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.

What really stood out was how accommodating the kitchen was with dietary needs. My girlfriend has a crustacean allergy, and because they make everything from scratch, they were able to leave out the shrimp in the pancakes. That kind of flexibility is rare and genuinely appreciated.

The variety of side dishes was great. We enjoyed kimchi, seaweed salad, seasoned spinach, fish cake, and bean sprouts, all of which paired perfectly with the mains. The japchae was also a hit, and the dipping sauces tied everything together.

I had a chance to chat with the owner, who told me they’ve been serving the community for over 45 years. You can feel that experience in the food and the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome...

I grew up attending a Korean church. With that came an appreciation for the culture; especially the food. The food at the Korean Palace has been consistently fresh, flavorful and like what good Korean food should taste like. A small piece of home and my childhood. The owner makes a point to check in with the customers and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. This is appreciated as I am not Korean and I’ve felt unwelcome at times in other places. The decor is nothing special, looks homey but is clean. I don’t go there for the atmosphere. I repeatedly eat there for the delicious reasonably priced food, welcoming atmosphere and good service. I’m sad I’m moving out of the area as this was my go to restaurant. When I’m in town this place...

Omg I will never come here! It is so bad. The food amount is so little and so low quality. I ordered two dishes by myself because I am pregnant. I couldn’t finish one dish, I asked for to go box. The lady said the togo box cost money and show me 3 different containers with 3 prices. I have never went to a restaurant that charge me togo container. Also she said if I want to pack the side dishes, it cost me $1. Wtf, I didn’t even get a refill on the side dishes and was not planning to take it. It didn’t taste good.. I spent $50 by myself and will never come back. Then she came back to me and said, since it’s your first time, we won’t charge you for the togo box. Just leave bigger tip.

Located in a run down area, but worth the quick drive from Valley Fair Mall, and once inside, a feast awaits you. Large booths, private party room. This restaurant has been around for a long time with a palace feel. Bulgogi, is sweet, tender and addictive with very little to nonexistent gristle. A good deal on lunch. Quality food and freshly made typical Korean dishes. Overseen by the owners who are usually there, and same waiters and waitresses who do not seem to age even as children age over 10 years. The cooks are Korean ladies, the food shows so much attention to detail that adds more taste to each dish and the kimchee is the best.
