I literally just walked out this restaurant vary upset. Let me start by saying I enjoy some of the sushi here it’s good and I especially like there miso soup I enjoy having a miso soup and often times I go to a sushi place and the soup taste like it was made with sewer water and it’s often times disgusting I was happy to have a sushi place ware I can get some good sushi and a soup but I have noticed In my experience these people act incredibly weird some times so I just interpreted it as socially awkward because there Asians maybe idk but after today I felt incredibly upset because they seem to serve other Asians and swiftly without the social hesitation but today it was just my prospective maybe but maybe and I would hope not but it seems racist. Today I walked in and sat down Mind you it’s vary clear I’m the only one around the server lady seen me come in first and if you have ever been here before you can clearly see any one walk in it’s obvious I was there first another man walks in a while after me sits down now I’m ready to order I’m hungry I’m not thinking any thing I’m just ready to order about to enjoy one of my favorite sushi spots near by. The waiter comes up asks me if I want a drink and I say what I want to drink and I ask for a miso soup and some edamame and mind you it was so weird she did not ask me if I wanted to order yet she just seemed to want to know if I wanted a drink and she was just walking away immediately and I was actually trying to order but as she asked my drink she just says yeah and is walking away as I am trying to order my soup and food etc but makes it practically impossible so I was weirded out and kinda thinking okay what ever at least I Orderd the soup and the edamame. She then comes back brings the Asian man a water and asks him what he would like to drink and if he would like to order? And I thought what the hell is going on here? She asked him way before she asked me and I came in way before him she clearly seen me and I was clearly trying to order and she just rushed her question as to what I would like to drink and did not even question if I was ready to order or bring me a water I just felt weird and upset and she served him with such swiftness and patience to ask what he wanted to order mind you he is on the table right next to me okay idk if I’m making a bigger deal of this then it seems but this felt so wrong I just couldn’t sit there I had to leave I won’t be returning I have been here many times before I always leave a nice tip and tell them thank you so much it was delicious I am always vary polite right now my thoughts are idk what the hell is up with these people I have noticed little things before but this one got me I’m done...
Read moreVERY good service and food. The Japanese waitresses very kind and respectful. Very friendly and stand off to the side while you eat in case you need something. The Man Behind the Counter making sushi very respectful and very professional. The atmosphere alone with the quaint little setting is enough to make you just feel like you're in a small little Japanese non-chain type restaurant. Then comes the food which first comes with a bowl of warm edamames for us to nibble on while we wait for our dinner to be served. First comes some miso soup and a little green side salad which is very flavorful! I order salmon Teriyaki to follow and it's plated beautifully with a ball of some white rice, a wedge of cantaloupe, and some pickled cucumber/onion that's spicy on the side as a relish garnish. The flavor of EVERYTHING and the experience is something I don't want to have end so I order green tea cheesecake. Frozen it first to keep it fresh, they found a way to mildly defrost it so that I could eat it and be satisfied. This was truly a wonderful experience complete with the unfiltered cold sake. I will definitely be back and you should check...
Read moreKorean Beef (Bulgogi) Authentic Korean Style?? Really? As someone who has actually tasted it, it would be more appropriate to call it stir-fried onions rather than bulgogi. It was not the traditional Korean bulgogi I had expected, but rather the meat seemed to have merely passed through the onions, giving off only a smell and barely any meat to eat. The smell was completely different from the traditional bulgogi. The skimpflation was so severe that it was even unpleasant.
It seems they knew that the bulgogi they serve to the customers was not up to standard. The waitress came and asked three times if the food was okay, but I did not respond positively. She didn't even ask once or at all at other tables. After the pandemic, despite the increase in prices, the quality of food from restaurants has deteriorated. It's very...
