I have worked in the service industry for almost 20 years, and the older woman eith glasses has added an experience I have never seen. I'm sure your regional director hell maybe even higher up on the food chain is going to know your name after this one. It's a hot day and the whole family happened to be dragged to mom's nail appointment next door to this starbucks. Ordered 4 drinks picked them up after a very long but also seemingly unnecessary wait time but that's a non issue seeing as we had the time to spare. The issue at hand is after about an hour I sent my daughter in to grab a cup of ice water, something I have done even since I was a kid roaming the streets. Maybe it was just the generosity of all those other starbucks from here to san Diego though. Upon my daughter going in and asking she was told. "You should go try taco bell they give out free stuff" like my daughter wasn't adequate enough or to ASSume we hadn't just picked up drinks from here. I'd understand if my daughter had gone in on a bad hair day or a sick day, but seeing as we were going to the salon my wife had made sure to keep the kids presentable. My question to her as well as to your area manager, regional director, regional vp.......would you give that answer or would you want that answer given to your 9 year old? In my restaurants a 9 year old little girl on a hot day could come in asking for a damn BIB of coke and I'd give it to her let alone a cup of ice water. I didn't want to believe the things being said about this starbucks as I come here or send someone here multiple times a week but if this is customer service then my name...

I am beyond disappointed with the treatment I received at the Starbucks on Aborn. Earlier in the day, I purchased a coffee and left briefly to grab lunch. When I returned, I was rudely approached by a staff member who informed me that I had to leave because it was "store policy." I explained that I was already a paying customer, but they refused to let me stay unless I made another purchase.
This is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve visited countless Starbucks locations over the years, and I have never been treated like this anywhere else. It’s humiliating to be kicked out of a place where I had already spent my money. Is this how loyal customers are valued?
I no longer feel welcome at this Starbucks. The way I was treated was not only disrespectful but also uninviting. Starbucks is supposed to provide a friendly and relaxing environment, but this location has completely failed to meet that standard.
If this is truly the policy of this store, it’s a terrible one. Customers should not be made to feel unwelcome, especially when they’ve already supported the business.
I will never return to this location, and I strongly advise others to stay away. San Jose has plenty of coffee shops where you’ll be treated with respect—this is clearly not...
Read moreI just witnessed something awful today at this location. I was waiting for my drink and I saw a customer come from outside, looked like a mobile order, took one of the drinks at the bar and left the store. He came back like 3 minutes later and told the young barista that they made the wrong drink. The barista said, “ oh, it’s just the sticker that’s wrong so the barista took the sticker off of the drink the guy took with him and put it on the guys correct drink and put the other sticker on the drink that the guy walked out with. The barista then called out the person’s name that was on the drink that left the store. Luckily the lady had noticed what happened and she asked the barista if this was the same drink that the guy walked out with he didn’t know what to answer so she made him make her another drink. I thought, wow! How disgusting that he was about to give the lady that drink anyway! What if the guy that took it out the store drank from it ? He was just a lazy kid who didn’t want to toss that drink and make a new one. I’m so glad I saw this! The manager was sitting at a table and had no clue what just happened. So much for monitoring your...
