Taco Bell — Restaurant in San Jose

I normally really enjoy taco bell, but I have been to this location exactly 3 times and they managed to mess up my order every single time. When I place my orders, I always try to specify no meat (I can’t eat it) and no sour cream (not dietary I just really hate sour cream).

First time I came I placed an order, swapped the meats for beans, said no sour cream. I get my order and take a bite out of my burrito and I straight up have never seen something with so much sour cream inside it in my life. Not only did they ignore the no sour cream request, they made the burrito about 50% sour cream. I was upset but whatever, and I grudgingly ate it, assuming they just had a bad day or something or that I had made a mistake.

I come back about 3 weeks later and order something again, this time with potatoes and also a frozen drink. Again I specified no sour cream (triple checked this time) and again, they put in extra sour cream. Additionally, they forgot my drink and I walked up 10 minutes later and asked and they were like “oh sorry we will get that out for you right away.” Another 10 minutes pass and I ask again and they deadass forgot my drink again mere seconds after I reminded them, so I made sure to ask and then stood there and waited until my drink got here.

I decided to try one more time today just to see if they could redeem themselves. I ordered a similar thing to before online and explicitly told them at the counter before they even started to verify that I want no meat and no sour cream. 15 minutes later I get my meal and lo and behold, my taco not only has hella sour cream but also is full of beef, too. While I can deal with sour cream, I can’t deal with meat and frankly at this point I’m just flabbergasted at how they have so consistently managed to mess up my order every time.

I really want to like this place. It’s in a convenient spot for me and every other taco bell I’ve ever been to has served me well. And for what it’s worth, the food itself was perfectly fine when I actually got something I ordered. I just can’t keep giving these guys more tries because they have consistently managed to mess up my order every single time I’ve been here. I don’t know what’s up with their management, but I really hope they straighten themselves out. I hate giving poor reviews and maybe if I ever come back here again and they don’t let me down then I’ll consider revising this review, but at least for now I just can’t...

I will never come here again.. all I ordered was a cheesy gordity crunch 2 chips with cheese and Mexican pizza. Drove away looked in the bag no chips. Had to drive back got the chips. This time drive home open the cheesy goesity crunch and literally no meat and no cheese just lettuce. Go back again! Drive up and the older Hispanic guy was at the Window and I told him "look at this, what is this" he apologized and showed the women on staff and they laughed at his face. He apologized and showed this is what he is dealing with. The women all of them were laughing and joking thinking this was hilarious. I get it, it's late and it's fast food. I don't make a ha it by any means but we have lived close by this taco bell for 5 years and have gone there here and there through the years. This was by far the worst visit ever. Mistakes have been made here before and we get back in line etc and fix it but this time was crazy. When I went back for the chips they missed they said I had to get it myself and made me walk up to the drive through window to grab it. This was by far the worst taco bell experience I've ever had perhaps even the worst overall restaurant experience I've had. Although there were warnings, my family did not heed them. The first sign was half the lights in the place turned off leaving it empty and depressing. Once we set foot inside this Taco Bell from hell there was all but 1 person inside even though it was during peak dinner hours. The food wasn't called out but we had to seek it out. We received our food but not our drinks. Upon realization I waited 10 minutes at the front of an empty Taco Bell before 1 of the 6+ people in the back even looked at me.
