Tandoori Pizza - San Jose — Restaurant in San Jose

I feel like some of the reviews are for the location in Sunnyvale. Anyways, my boyfriend and I wanted to try Tandoori Pizza for a while, and we finally tried it. The restaurant was hot inside, no A/C and doors were closed. We originally wanted to eat there but decided to take home since it was WAY too hot in there. We ordered the large size half and half. When we were deciding, another customer were talking to the cashier in their own language, but then the cashier was pointing to a paper new the register. We did't pay too much attention, but then when we order and ready to pay, I looked at the paper just out of curiosity, and it saids 25%off any large pizza on Tuesday and we went on Tuesday. I told my bf to hold off and paying and asked the cashier about the promo, and he said "oh, it's starting next tuesday, not this one" I read the fine print, and it only shows expiration date is 10/31/2024 and if it has not started, why put it out? We didn't want to argue and paid but that just didn't give us good feeling and won't be back specifically this location. food...

Food was good. But beware if you are planning on picking up food from this location. If you are hungry, you will be in for a long wait. This is my second time experiencing this delay. Placed an order at 8.50 pm. I was told it will be ready in 20mins in about 25min i get another call saying I had placed an order. To which I responded saying I'm on my way and reaching in 10mins. 10- 15 mins later when I get to the place, my order isn't there! Not even started! They say 4-5 mins which ends up being 15mins.!! The staff had the exact same reason as last time - they gave my order to someone else (with a smile on their face). The coincidence that someone by my name with the exact same pizza size and topping orders the same thing! Not once but twice! Absolutely atrocious. This place is a masterclass in how to rip off customers. I'm still in shock and frankly, a little angry about the prices. A single beer—not some rare, imported brew, just a regular, run-of-the-mill beer—cost a jaw-dropping $13.99. Thirteen ninety-nine! This isn't fine dining in a major city; this is outright highway robbery. The quality of the service and the atmosphere were completely overshadowed by the outrageous pricing. It’s an insult to customers and shows a complete disregard for value. I've had better beer for a third of the price at places with far better service.
