Banh Mi is a Vietnamese sandwich originating in Saigon that is made up of single or a combination of meats – crusty bread split lengthwise (like a submarine sandwich roll) smeared with pate, mayo, pickled vegetables, green onion, coriander/cilantro, a mighty wack of fresh chillies and drizzle of seasoning.
