Wingstop — Restaurant in San Jose

It happened that I ordered online, then I went in there and used the restroom, flushed it down and washed my hands and probably spent 4 liters of water, and after waiting for my food which cost $37 dollars, I got thirsty and asked the manager, Carmen Téllez, to please give me a cup for water, then she said, “no we do not give cups for water to customers”, the I said I order food and I am waiting for it and you are denying me a cups for water, and she said, “ yes, I will not give you a cup, then I proceeded to cancel my order, and she said to someone that she was training give him a cup, and of course I said not it was too late, I was astonished that I couldn’t get water and neither I was offered to purchase one, so the order was cancelled. I walked out and walked back in and asked the manager for her name and she gave it to me.

I went to the location in Prospect avenue. I walked in there and since I was really thirsty, I asked for a cup of water and a young lady with a smile on her face quickly went to grab a plastic cup and said her sir help yourself, there was a huge difference on customer service right away.

I am a huge Wingstop fan, been eating their wings for years, and tried this location.

There was almost no seasoning on my order. The first pic is mango habanero and lemon pepper. When I saw the lemon pepper I was so confused because there was almost no seasoning on any of the wings. I thought they mistakenly gave me plain wings until I flipped some of them and saw a tiny sprinkling of the pepper. The mango habanero could’ve been a dry rub, there was almost no sauce. Second pic are fries and hot honey rub wings. The hot honey was again barely seasoned. The fries were underdone, soggy and also under seasoned. Pretty sad overall. If only one wing flavor was under seasoned, I wouldn’t mind. I don’t even really care about the fries because Wingstop’s fries are always a hit or miss. But if my entire chicken order tastes like boiled chicken with a hint of lemon/honey/mango, that tells me that this is likely a persistent issue at this location. Seems like based on the other reviews that under-seasoning is a consistent problem. I’ll be happily driving an extra ten minutes to other Wingstops for...

I actually had to come on here because I was so upset from tonights order. I have been consistently ordering from this store because it is actually set on default for as my closest store & really I don't get it but this store is so inconsistent with getting the order correct, over 5 times ( no joke either, making the food the wrong temperature (well done), super cold fries(hard, no seasoning) and multiple times, wrong drinks. Something is going on here and they need to fix it I took a photo of how oily they make their wings when you select 'well done' + I got someone else's drink tonight 6/3/2025 Be warned when you order from here, these folks dont care.
