In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in San Juan Capistrano

Let me start off by saying I’m pretty old school. In-n-out burgers always sounds good. This location seems to have handled traffic and lines effectively. There were initial concerns that this would be a major issue… but the times I’ve gone, it wasn’t bad.

Food is exactly what you’d expect of in n out. I asked for extra toasted once… and it actually came perfectly toasted. That doesn’t happen every time at other places. I’m sure that varies depending on who’s on the grill.

The one thing that irked me a bit was the guy taking orders at the drive thru one time. He wasn’t exactly outgoing or welcoming. He was bare minimum. I don’t knowing it was an off day, but I appreciate good service and interaction. He’s the first point of contact during our visit and honestly it diminished the perceived level of service of everyone we met after him. The drive thru person is usually upbeat and at least welcoming. The weather was perfect and the line wasn’t bad… so I’m not sure what unseen factors might have played a role in all that.

Aside from that… I’ll still be coming back. I’ll just hope someone else is...

We were so excited to try the brand new In-n-out burger and brought all the kids for a treat! The parking lot was easy to navigate and the staff was friendly from the moment we entered the building. Our order was placed easily and without error and our food came quickly! Everything was perfect! The best part of our dining experience was that we were having a difficult time with some of our kids and even spilled a drink, and Tamara came over and gave my husband and me some reassuring words and really made our day with her kindness. She is such a gem and her patience and grace really meant a lot to us today! We are grateful for such a family friendly business in our area and will...

We had such a wonderful experience here! The hamburgers were absolutely delicious, and the vegetables were so fresh. All of the staff members were very kind, but we especially want to mention the gentleman who was managing the dining area. He gave us the most outstanding service, speaking to us in simple and gentle English with a warm smile, which made us, as Japanese visitors, feel very comfortable. Both my children and I truly loved him!

It’s unbelievable that someone who provides such exceptional hospitality never even asks for a tip. If every restaurant in America were like this one, it would be perfect. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely wish happiness for everyone...
