Dairy Queen — Restaurant in San Juan

This is a smaller cozier version of the restaurant, at least until it starts to fill up before 5 p.m. for dinner. Then it's popular for teens, families, and older couples. Just ordered a small soda and stayed 2 hours waiting for the Alcoholics Anonymous meeting to open across the street. All staff very helpful and friendly. Lady at register accidentally thought I ordered an ice cream cone when she went to fill order. Since you can't squeeze the ice cream back into the machine and didn't want it to go to waste she gave me the ice cream cone for free. How cool was that? And leaving I also got a free Dilly Bar by using receipt to fill out online survey to get code number. The best deal on the menu is the $1.99 Nachos with free Jalapeños. The Banana Split is very tasty and filling with any flavor of 3 toppings you want. I always go for the classic toppings of strawberry, fudge, and pineapple. My favorite dinner to order is the #6 Dude Burger which comes with fries and a drink. It's a Country Fried breaded patty with mayo, tomato and lettuce. May I recommend adding extra mayo and ketchup? I think they have a Drive Thru. They open at 10 a.m. they have clean single person bathrooms. No electric outlets or Wi-Fi. Free refills on sodas and sweet or plain ice tea. Convenient trip to a fast food vendor for some burgers and ice cream for the family. Quick and painless right? WRONG. I go in just to take the time and make sure I explain the order and there are no mistakes. Hand the girl a coupon for a free burger with a combo purchase then place my full order. Done deal right? NOPE. She charges me then says she forgot to put in the coupon. She says let me get the manager Alicia. ok fine great I say. Alicia then proceeds to correct the over charge but in the process charges me again. EVEN AFTER I SAID NO YOU'VE ALREADY CHARGED ME I SEE THE CREDIT SLIP. So she says no I haven't then after she fumbles with the reciepts says ok so yes I did but ive refunded the other correct amount but to make up the change she offers 4 dollars instead of the almost 40 from the first charge. So about 25 minutes in and $70.00 taken out of my debit and nothing resolved. At this point I've had my fill and leave without my food and out more than double what the charge would had been. And for more wasted time will spend who knows how long with my bank try to resolve the charges that already posted. All because I felt like making things easy and getting fast food lol what a joke. I ordered a double beltbuster with bacon along with the order of the rest of my family. When we got home to eat I unwrapped my burger and it was missing the bacon. It would not have been an issue but this was not the first time it had happened. I decided to call the restaurant and let them know what happened and that they could just add the bacon the next time I order. I called 3 times and no answer. I went in person and I have to admit they did make me a new order and threw away the order they got wrong. I tried to tell the manager that I was calling but she wouldn't let me talk. Instead, she told me that I need to check my order the next time and that everyday there is a long line. She then proceeded to go off on her staff bossing them around left and right.
