El 8 de Blanco — Restaurant in San Juan

One of my favorite (if not my favorite) places to go eat, drink and hangout. The food is amazing, it has great quantity and flavor, and all for a very reasonable price. The service is also great and the waiters are always giving you the required attention. Also, if you're looking for a place where college scene hangs out; trust me this the place. It's just at a walking distance from the UPR: Rio Piedras. I've been here many many times and I have great memories...

1/23/2019 ..Great place, good ambience... They need strongly training to security personal.. They don't have the minus idea to control situations. Just because a customer under the influence of alcohol, cursed the door security person, he made such a big issue, that it seems that the world was ending... up to the point that unnecessary, another employee took out his weapon... what a show... they had to close the store for that night.. totally...

Though the food is mostly good, the service is underwhelming. You can order carryout and expect to wait an hour or more for it to be served. Not to mention it feels to be understaffed. I forgot why I stopped coming here about a year or two ago, and this evening I relearned my lesson: it’s extremely slow. Don’t come here if you have class or appointments scheduled after. Only come here if you want to...
