Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in San Juan

This restaurant has listed outside its door that it closes at 9 pm. I went in at 5:10 pm with all my family to have dinner, the door was open, and there was a group of people dining inside. When we try to order, the cashier says in a very careless manner, “only takeout orders after 5 pm”. Keep in mind there is no sign anywhere in the restaurant that says only takeout after 5 pm. She said it was directions of the manager because of COVID. The manager came out and begrudgingly gave us her name and then walked out of the restaurant. We asked for any evidence that inside dining is closed after 5 pm, and they had zero proof of this new policy. I usually wouldn’t make a bad review because of something like this, but more than two years into the pandemic with this, like COVID comes out after 5 pm, no written policy in the door or counter, and the attitude of the cashier and manager made this review necessary. Everything keeps getting worse and worse with customer service in Puerto Rico. We went to another Popeyes 10 minutes out and they let us dine in. Went to drive through had like 3 cars in front very slow service for only 3 cars. Employee very rude, she said I asked to many questions which is why she didn’t offer any beverage. I asked questions because I wanted a chicken breast included in my family 6 piece order even if charged additional and I was trying to get my order correct. Coleslaw had a funny taste had to throw away, fries were cold. None of this would have mattered much if the female employee with long black braided hair wouldn’t have been so rude. They forgot items from my order but i let it slide because i was in a rush after waiting in line for over 25 minutes. Food was decent and i would give it the benefit of the doubt by going again. Although i already have low expectations for my next visit.

Update went again and they should really update. Went at 8:40when supposedly they close at 10 and they were only serving 10% of their menu. For a fast food service they take way to long just to take the order over 20 minutes per person and then they give the order wrong. Would think twice about...
