Gordita Dona Tere — Restaurant in San Juan

AWEFUL!! server didn't even know how to help me with the menu, brought me the wrong drink and when i called her out she argued with me that it was what i had ordered. BAD! the gorditas don't have a good taste. You're better of going to gorditas Doña Tota. The server never checked back to see how was everything, she didn't even brought my check. They were somewhat busy but had plenty of help. Then i got up to pay and had to wait for the lady at the register to finish checking Facebook on her phone for her to charge me, YUCK!! A sign of our times, Facebook is more important the getting$$$from our customers. NOT...

I've only had Doña Tota gorditas and when I came across this restaurant I had high expectations for their gorditas. But was very dissatisfied with the taste. The gordita itself tasted like eggs, which I despise. I didn't eat it all. My child's bean and cheese tacos were hard all though it was supposed to be a soft taco. Service was good as our waitress was attentive. But overall I do not recommend this place at all. I love supporting small locally owned businesses and if they work on their recipes I will give it...

I love this restaurant. The service is great. The food is just so good. It's really clean in there too. I just have one critisism about it. The sweet tea there is close to 3 dollars and u don't even get refills. Now u might think this is really great home brewed sweet tea. But it's not. 8/. In fact. It's the powder sweet tea. I'll just stick with the water thanks very much. But still! I keep going back for the amazing fresh home...
