La Bodega de Méndez — Restaurant in San Juan

I stood there for a good 20 mins and NO ONE even said "good morning" or offered to help. There were 2 cashiers: One of them completely ignored me and the other one, looked at me once and didn't even asked me if I needed anything. I saw another employee that was loading a truck with gift baskets and I had to interrupt her to see if I could get someone to at least acknowledge that there was a customer in the store. She was too busy to help me, I get it. But she didn't even told the other two that I needed help. I was there ready to spend $600 but, after their terrible customer service, I took my business to Boutique Du Vin. Which is waaaaay better. Actually, when I got to Boutique Du Vin, one of the employees told me that they get customers everyday complaining about La Bodega de Mendez and their horrible customer service. Funnily enough, while I was paying, a customer came in complaining about them. The employee that was helping me, told me that during the holidays they get about 10 people per day complaining about this place. Save yourself the trouble, don't go here. Go to Boutique Du Vin. I've been there a couple of times and it's always a good experience. Usually they have parking nearby but if not there's a parking lot crossing the street.
