Tres Puntos — Restaurant in San Juan

I was there for a late anniversary lunch. We got there 15 min. before our reservation and it took a while for somebody to greet us at the door. Once the waitress got to us, she told us to wait. It took 15min to set our table and the place wasn't full. We asked for an appetizer and quickly asked for the main course, it took 20 minutes for the appetizer to get to the table. They didn't remove the menus until we asked the waiter to take them. We waited and waited, a waiter passed by and your food was about to be ready, 30 minutes passed. 30 minutes after that we asked another waiter for the food and he brought it to the table. We went there for the risotto with chorizo and pigeon peas which was a total disappointment, it wasn't creamy nor hot, and the pork belly was a little dry. The irony of all of this is that at the time there was a party of 12 and 3 other pairs in the restaurant. Not rush hour to take into consideration. I dont know how to start rating this place. It's been a very long time since we went to a restaurant and was this bad. To start, service was just sad. We had a reservation for 8 +baby for that day. I was the first one to arrive with half of our party. No one came to our table for half an hour. When the rest of our group arrive. My boyfriend had to ask for the waiter. This is when the fun part starts. I asked for a kids' service of chicken and fries, and the rest of us asked for a drink. (I HAD TO ASK 3 TIMES FOR MY DAUGHTER'S FOOD) so it can be served. I'm not going to lie. They were pretty good. After that everything was worse our food arrived 2 hours later and mine was cold. The waitress responded, and i quote, "Oh yeah, that must be because it was the first plate to be done. Do you want me to reheat?" Defenetly, I won't be coming back to this restaurant. First time visiting with my family. The food was excellent; we ordered several dishes such as salmon with risotto, pork belly and coconut rice, pechuga rellena de yuca etc. and all of them were delicious. However the service wasn’t align with the great food and environment. The servers were nice, but not attentive and they took so long to check on our table. At some point we had so many empty glasses due to the lack of attention to our table. Lastly our dessert order took so long that we decided to cancel it however they took a proactive approach to this situation delivering the dessert no charge.
