Panadería La Viña — Restaurant in San Juan

Believe it or not I had trouble when visiting Puerto Rico finding a good Bakery with authentic food with reasonable prices!

Until I found this Bakery, the first day I visited the Bakery me, my husband and our teenager. We tried empanadas de pollo, pastellio de carne, guva pastries and quesito dulce! Everything was spot on so we had to go back the next day before leaving Puerto Rico! We ordered the same things and also tried the Cubano sandwich, pernil sandwich and tripleta!

We sat in the restaurant and enjoyed our meal and atmosphere. All orf the staff were helpful, polite and had patience when I took forever trying to figure out what to get!

This is not only a Bakery, you can have a sit down meal with friends or enjoy pastries and...

My favorite order here is a trio of delights that never fails to make my day: the ham croquettes, the medianoche sandwich, and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. The ham croquettes are perfectly crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside, bursting with rich, savory flavors. They are, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had.

What truly sets La Viña apart is the exceptional service. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness makes me feel like I'm home.

Extrange business, belive me. Better than before but this people doesn't know what they are doing. I was at the cash register paying my ticket and I saw how they rejected a request from a customer for a 10 people omelet, they responded that they can make it only individually. What kind of management, that's why places like La Ceiba, Kasalta and España dominate this business. This place haven't been good since the original owner retired because the son is a looser.
