This style of pizza is not very popular in Puerto Rico, I visited this place and I loved it. Good quality and good atmosphere. Very good service… I recommend spicy honney ppeperoni and with extra poeperoni… … Chicago-style pizza is pizza prepared according to several styles developed in Chicago. It can refer to both the well-known deep-dish or stuffed pizzas and the lesser-known thin-crust tavern-style pizzas.[1] The pan in which deep-dish pizza is baked gives the pizza its characteristically high edge, which provides ample space for large amounts of cheese and a chunky tomato sauce. Chicago-style deep-dish pizza may be prepared in the deep-dish style and as a stuffed pizza. Chicago-style thin-crust pizza dough is rolled for a thinner crispier crust than other thin-crust styles. The thin-crust pizza is cut in squares instead of slices, and is also referred to as a "tavern-style" pizza.

Okay… I’ve been looking for some decent pizza in Puerto Rico for over a year. Birra House actually had some really good pizza execution, however, this place is next level. There is no comparison to anything else I’ve found here. The place is absolutely packed, so obviously word is getting around. The tavern and deep dish are both 100% on point. There were smiles with every bite. Hands down the best pizza in Puerto Rico (so far anyway). We had the Spicy Honey Pepperoni (pepperoni with hot honey drizzle) - tavern style, and the “Downtown” (pepperoni, sausage, onion, and green pepper) - Deep Dish.

I really like the vibes of the place; it’s very family/friend-group oriented. The service was top-notch, but it must be noted there was a waitlist of over 20 minutes. If you’re looking for a faster experience, you could order carry-out and it’ll be much quicker. The food was good, but I felt the crust of the spicy honey pepperoni pizza to be smothered in honey glaze, which softened the crust. The deep dish in itself was tasty, but it had dainty amounts of the toppings - which, for the price paid, I thought would be a more generous portion. Nonetheless, it’s a place worth visiting at least once.

¡Servicio desastrozo subpar, horrible e...

I approve, and I'm from Chicago. Usually, this style of pizza exports poorly, outside an expansion of a Chicago restaurant. Ordered the spinach pesto, which is something I would get from Giordano's. I don't know if the pesto was made fresh (pine nuts being difficult to find in PR), but it was certainly flavorful. Crust had corn meal, like one Chicago variant, but was baked pretty hard outside. Not as much butter as Chicago crusts, apparently. The surrounding outdoor food park is probly the fanciest I've been to -- concrete, garden spaces, and a stage obviously built for tourists, w tents for shade. Staff spoke US English behind...
