The farmers market at Placita Roosevelt is really special, so many options of fresh veggies, fruits, spice sauces, herbs, local art and more. Every time I go the experience feels even better than the previous one. The Peruvian (super healthy homemade food) from Miguel and Maricarmen - @Goldeninpr is my absolute all the time favorite. Today I tried vegan tacos from Yayah - @Desdeceroboriken, and it was incredibly tasty, she also has preps you can take home and mix with whatever you’d like. The homemade spices from Nueva Consecha are so unique, absolutely delicious and worth the try. The vegan sweets from @Italgoodz are masterfieces! I loved the carrot cake. I deeply recommend for you to try it all. And being in the placita is also a great way to start the sunday....

I visited the placita Roosevelt the road are very rough and hard to get a parking place. We went to cafeteria ZAYAS. First the dining table was empty. If you go to eat anywhere the table have Napkins, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, ketchup. Evrytime you need one those things you have to ask the waiter in one moment the waiter Said very sarcastic "anything else" like I'm tired to bring those stuff to you. My food was a little burned and you had to pay for bread, salad. My cousin told me when the waiter cleared the table she took the Napkins from our table and put it back with the other clean Napkins. Sorry but I never come back to this...

I only go there when they have the organic, agricultural market, some Sundays each month. I went there today because I heard on the radio, they were going to have the Christmas event! Besides the usual crops and products sold there, they had vegetarian and vegan alternatives of our typical food at Christmas! Great taste!!! There are activities for children as well as music for the adults! Everyone has fun...
