Wow, the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We had camarones al ajillo (garlic shrimp) with seasoned rice, and bistec encebollada (steak with onions) with salad. They didn't have an English menu so we did some googling to order, but couldn't be more pleased.
The food was extraordinary: rich, flavorful, beautiful, simple. Ex: usually a side salad is an afterthought, but not here - it was big, fresh, with a giant wedge of avocado (different variety than in the US) and covered in a simple oil-based dressing.
I regret not getting appetizers or dessert. Other tables ordered them (and wine! they had a great selection on display) and everything looked terrific. They make a homemade bread pudding, and I bet we would've loved it.

The singer, native from Spain playing his guitar, brings the crowd to their feet, and not to mention the 2 Flamenco dancers, with their castanets, adding a touch of Spanish authenticity to the place.
I ordered a Sangria, well prepared and refreshing.
My Breaded Chicken Breast was cooked to perfection, accompanied with Sweet Plantains. My dining partner ordered also the chicken but with Mashed Potatoes, she was happy with her selection,
I will definitely patronize this...
