Popeye's Sno Cone — Restaurant in San Juan

I got the Raspa with a Chamoy Apple and Gummy bears. It was very good. The ice shavings are very soft and remind me of real snow (I’m from Chicago). There is no crunchy ice or biting necessary, it just melts in your mouth.

This particular Raspa is shareable and plenty for 2 people.

My only complaints would be that we waited over 25 mins in the drive through. 15 minutes to order and another 10 to receive our order. A long line, to me is a good sign, however 10-15 mins is acceptable but 25-30 is too long, even for a really good raspa.

Also, I do wish there was a little bit more shaved ice in my Raspa.

This place ruined all other raspas for me. I cannot go to another raspa stand. The shaved ice at Popeye's is super fine and doesn't melt right away. They don't give you a straw; you won't need one. Not to mention they have a lot of other specialty snacks. My recommendation: the mango loco. If there's anything negative to say, is that there is always a long line (and rightfully so). This place was hyped up by my cousins wife that lived there in the Valley she told me everything here was to die for needless to say I will not be stopping by anymore.
