I recently dined at Jingege Restaurant, and I must say that it was an extremely disappointing experience. From the poor service to the unreasonable requirement of a 15% tip, it left much to be desired.
The service at Jingege Restaurant was subpar, to say the least. The staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in providing a pleasant dining experience. They were slow to attend to our needs, inattentive, and lacked basic courtesy. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.
What was even more shocking was the restaurant's policy of requiring a 15% tip, regardless of the quality of service received. This is a ridiculous practice that undermines the purpose of tipping, which should be based on the level of service provided. Forcing customers to tip a specific amount, especially when the service is unsatisfactory, is simply outrageous.
Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was lacking. The atmosphere was dull and uninviting, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal. The decor was uninspiring, and the seating arrangements were uncomfortable.
In terms of the food itself, it was mediocre at best. The dishes lacked flavor and creativity, and the presentation was underwhelming. Considering the prices charged, I expected much more in terms of taste and quality.
Overall, my experience at Jingege Restaurant was far from satisfactory. The poor service, the mandatory 15% tip, and the lackluster food and atmosphere make it a place I would not recommend. There are plenty of other dining options available that offer better service, value, and overall...
Read moreA pretty nice hong kong style restaurant in the area! In fact, this whole complex is split in the two with this one focusing on barbecue pork and chicken and the other side focusing on spicy fish. If you can't get a seat on one side, you can always go to the other side because the menu is exactly the same and you can order from both sides as needed. Just don't mind the AI generated ads plastered in some areas... Waiting can be long especially during peak. Lunch hours around 30 to 45 minutes... Ordering was done easily through the iPad and when you are done confirming the order, the waiter will come to pick up the iPad. Depending on the dish such as the rice plates, they can come out fairly quickly, but even some dishes that are prepared in the kitchen can take a very long time 30-45 min wait for a chow fun... But at least everything is very tasty, including the chow fun that had a lot of flavor to it! I also like that they had lemon Coca-Cola...
