First time ordering from here. A nice little surprise, food was piping hot and delicious. Ordered the lumpia, crispy pata, pork sisig, bbq chicken and pancit and everything was ready to pick up at the expected pick up time. Crispy pata nice and crispy and meaty. Same price as it would be if I had ordered from the deli section at Phil's house, definitely closer to home. The pancit was a hit with the kid's especially when you have a special needs child who is very picky about food! The bbq chicken was the best surprise of all. I thought it was the chicken skewers but imagine my surprise it was a huge order of bbq chicken! It was marinated well and cooked nice and not dry. It even appease the mother in law who rarely tries anything new. It was a great meal!! Definitely need to come back and try other things on the menu. Pick up was friendly and easy and they...

Pistahan is a Filipino styled buffet. My wife and I were craving it today so here we are. The place is busy with many loyal patrons. The outside is not a particular standout but the inside is where the magic is. Their full selection of food made available were wide and if you are a fan of Filipino food they sure have quite a bit of selection and some more. Their offering included desert like an ube cake and an ube mix of soup to sure make your stomach sing. I liked the food and although I don’t know enough about their individual dishes, my wife who is fluent said they are extremely well made. If you are like me who wants to try all of their dishes without really committing to any of them, this spot is a...

Was disappointed. I ordered thru doordash. The filipino fried chicken was burn, dry and flavorless. It was so tough that it made my jaw hurt chewing it. Their homemade "Mang tomas" was nasty, clumpy and you can taste the liver in it. The halo-halo was a bigger disappointment, the ingredients were just half an inch of the cup, consists of one strand of coconut, 5 pcs of nata de coco, and no sugar. The leche flan on it tasted like nothing and was so stiff not creamy, the halo halo itself was so watered down. All i could taste was ube ice cream and ice. Like we can do better, this is not what a halo halo should be.

If I could do 0...

I like the modern look of the inside of this restaurant. Was modern and was clean. They have a buffet here but ended at a certain time. The host was very friendly and did check up on me. The only issue I had was the food, I had their Seafood Sinigang, which had the shrimp. shrimp was a bit hard like it was frozen, the broth did not have enough seasoning, definitely needed more asim to the soup, I could barely taste it and needed more of it. The vegetables tasted okay, and their halo-halo was decent. For the cost of food to be really high here I expected it to be more delicious, but was very disappointed.

I finally visited Pistahan after hearing so much praise from my friends, and it was definitely worth the hype! Parking was plentiful, and there was no wait on a Wednesday afternoon, so it's a great time to check it out. While their menu offers a variety of Filipino dishes, their Kare-Kare is the star of the show. We tried the Beef Kare-Kare and were impressed by the generous serving of both vegetables and protein. The Lechon Kawali was also delicious and satisfying. I use to go to a closer Filipino restaurant, but Pistahan is now my go-to spot. It's definitely worth the extra trip! Pictured: Tocilog
