Stumbled onto this grill via Maps local restaurants. Wanted a good sandwich, I was recommended the Monterey Chicken. The meat was juicy, but lacked flavor. I added Tabasco, it needed something. It was a mediocre sandwich that could've used extra seasonings. French fries weren't bad or memorable. About an hour after eating, my stomach wasn't happy. Needless to say, I wouldn't have that dish again. I did notice a police officer on break, so somethings gotta be better here then the sandwich. I'd give it another try, service was fast, efficient and very pleasant. Not pricey and wasn't far from my job. Supporting local businesses is better then Corporate Chains.

Classic American diner food of my childhood. Think 1960s. First time we both went for the turkey dinner with salad. Fresh lettuce and all. Dinner veggies, unlike 60 years ago, not cooked within an inch of life, rather nicely sauteed, not too crunchy. Good stuffing. Turkey, you can ask for light or dark meat. Really home like dinner. Only negative was no cranberry sauce Second time around I went for meatloaf. 2 nice slabs with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Prices are very reasonable for 2024, we shall return. Good new place for us to dine in. Don't know how we missed going here for years

Just out Boppin around down in San Lorenzo and as usual...minding my own business, kicked an empty beer can off the sidewalk on Flint Avenue and a rookie Revenuer called me on it. I handed him a tissue and told him to wipe his mommy's breast milk off his chin and look at the dirty can and try to guess how many days it's been laying there. I told him if he's got any more things to talk about I'll be over there at the Manor Grill. I got the chicken sandwich and asked her to make it look like a grilled cheese...It was Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I'm the white guy that comes in by himself and you have the choice to give me service or kind of ignore me. It took BEGGING for a coffee refill, and even longer for my $9.99 easy breakfast: 2 bacon 2 eggs and a biscuit with gravy. at least 20 25 minutes later I get a plate with 2 FREID eggs a Microwaved Biscuit! Gross...all hard and chewy, the bacon was crispy but it's hard to screw up bacon folks!! Lets be real. Patiently waiting for my check, ....tick tock credit card out eye contact doesn't matter wasnt gonna happen.. Sadly I had to get up and approach the counter. With only two people serving the entire restaurant (Huh!) understaffed is an understatement!! You need at least two more girls for your morning rush. FACTS: (others said the same thing on your reviews) HIRE @ least 2 more girls One constant receptionist and another to help out serving tables. No one should have to walk into an empty front desk. Because the receptionist is now pouring coffee and taking orders... Wait endlessly for refills are wait more than 25 minutes for a $10 three item meal IS BELOW AVE SERVICE. YOU truly need TO HIRE help and your patrons would appreciate it. The kitchen in the other hand seem to be chock-full of "workers" so why my three item meal took so long is beyond me. I let the girl know at the register, and told her it's not her fault but these are some things that I noticed. I'm sure you have some people that value your place, but my service subpar and...

Oh, how I do love my hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I stumbled upon this little gem while lying in bed and searching "best breakfast near me". The menu selection looked appealing as did the prices. They didn't disappoint. As the photo shows, I had the corned beef hash and eggs, with country potatoes, cornbread, and coffee. As you can see, the portioning is very good. You won't leave here hungry! The corned beef hash was just a tad to the greasy side, but it was absolutely delicious!! The country potatoes were to die for. The cornbread, light, fluffy, and equally delicious. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this place! I will very definitely be back. I think I've found a new favorite place!!

UPDATE!! This review is a year old already. A lot has changed during that year! One thing that HASN'T changed is the quality of this place! As anticipated, I'm now a regular here, and I have yet to be disappointed. Due to health issues, I've had to essentially change my eating habits. Even with that, they still come through with...

After realizing that my steak was not close to a 12 ounce ribeye, I let them know. After an exchange, my waiter replaced it with a park of a steak. I was satisfied with it. However, after a large shard of bone was hidden and I was simply saying how my teeth had cracked into pieces from it before, and that I was glad it was okay this time, she walked away angrily and said "Don't pay then." I even explained what had happened at the cashier, not knowing that she was the owner, and she came around and said the same thing. I asked her directly " what she meant by that?" It is interesting because I was the only Asian in the restaurant with at least 60 other patrons at the time, and at no time did I hear her rudely responding to any other patron, or imply that they could not pay the bill. After asking who the owner was, she proudly answered and told me to not come back in again. Just to let my Asian brothers...
