I have no idea what happened to this place. The last time we ordered from here several months ago the quality of the pizza was above average for the East Bay. This time....we ordered a large Porky's Combo, a small Chicken Pesto Gourmet, two dipping sauces, and their 8 inch cookie. The crust of the Porky's Combo was incredibly thin, soggy and practically falling apart toward the middle. Both pizzas had literally the smallest amount of sauce I've ever seen on a pizza. Seriously looked like they put a pea-sized dollop of sauce on each pizza and spread it as thin as possible around the whole base. The crust on the Chicken Pesto pizza was ultra thick, bready, and undercooked on the outer edges, while super thin toward the middle. The chicken on the pizza was SO SO dry that it was almost hard to chew and completely tasteless. It was like the flavorless chicken I boil in water and give to my cats. So disgusting. We also ordered a side of marinara/pizza sauce which they forgot to give us (must've used it all on the pizza /eyeroll). And to top it all off the cookie pizza was rock hard and overcooked. This was a $101 order after tax, tip, service fee (Doordash) and delivery. We threw away over two thirds of the food because it was so gross. Never again.

(See update below)Great family eatery, not too different from the old Bertolli's in Berkeley and many other spaghetti and pizza places of the '60s and '70s. We usually come in for a dinner salad for each one of us plus an a la carte main dish like spaghetti or raviolis. The servings are nicely generous. And they have wedge potatoes too, very fluffy and very yummy. Very nice staff, there is off street and on street parking. If you want to save a little room, Clancy's ice cream parlor is just across the street. I mean you can really get a serious calorie fix at this intersection. By the way, the salad is pretty darn healthy, garbanzo beans, beets all sorts of stuff. Highly accommodate you. 8/15/25. Are you still a RAIDERS fan?? This is one of the places to be. Really good crowd watching Monday Night football. Pretty vocal of course. Actually enjoyed it even though the Raiders were losing. We ended up getting our salads and shared a four-piece dinner which is four pieces of chicken, four potato wedges, a couple of pieces of garlic bread and a small coleslaw.

The food was hot when I picked it up. However, the sauce was probably tasty fresh, it tasted like it had been sitting reheating all day and burned. The ravioli themselves were good, but there was not enough sauce or it was too dried up for the raviolis on the bottom. The pizza had plenty of toppings, but it was unremarkable pizza. The mushrooms were good, but the sauce and crust were just okay, pizza is subjective, it did remind me of pizza at Pizza Hut when I was a kid. The person at the counter didn’t even acknowledge me for several minutes when I got there to pickup our order. I was standing right in front of her, I thought maybe I was in the wrong place for pickup. The inside of the place looks like a good place to meet up with friends especially with kids or to watch sports. I did see they have their own store cars for delivery, maybe if it was delivered I would have been less disappointed, without all the effort to find and drive to a place, the food was just okay.

First and last time! I walked in to pay/pick up my pizza. Dude at the register was helping 2 ladies. They couldn't decide on what they wanted and were in deep conversation. He did not seem to care I was in line and took his sweet time talking back and forth. I waited behind them for 10 MINUTES! Not one person greeted me or asked to help me or acknowledged me. Mind you there were about 6 people behind the register just standing and talking. After 10+ minutes I get pulled to the side by some girl and I tell her I just need to pay for my pizza and go. But it seems like the only register working was the one the guy was on. So she told me to keep waiting. As I got my order and was walking out I forgot to ask for ranch so I walk back in. Nobody was at the counter and as I approached it so did a waiter at the same time. The guy behind the counter looks at me and starts talking to her over some schedule, mind you im literally in front of both of them. Im standing there again for about 5 minutes until I had to interrupt them since I was getting ignored for the second time. Customer service does not exist here! Also I live only 10 minutes away and when I got home my pizza was so soggy and already cold, seeing that I waited almost 15 MINUTES at the counter just to pick up 1 large pizza..not impressed at all. Pizza is expensive for the size that is offered. A mini personal pizza starts at $20..and on top of that me and my husband instantly got food poisoning and spent the whole night using the bathroom after eating only a few slices. We managed to only eat half and had to throw the other half away. Had a lot of expectations from this "iconic" spot and was highly disappointed. Will stick to SUZIE QS pizza in hayward off foothill Blvd. If you want quality pizza and excellent service please support this...

we ordered the very first night here the only place open and delivers past 10. the food was amazing so glad we didn't order from the place that was recommended. We even called letting them know how amazing the food was, the dressing for the sandwich was homemade Italian (Amazing) and the pizza was cook perfect. The following day we were tired didn't want to go out and eat. So we decided to go with our favorite place. We tried for 2 hours to order and the line was busy should of took that as a sign but instead we persevered and finally got threw. We ordered exact same thing with extra house dressing on the side. So when the food to came it was cold and the dressing nowhere in the order. The driver said we ordered extra dipping sauce and it said nothing about dressing. I said ok, but there is not dressing on the sandwich either. he was going to go get it and the restaurant was right down the street and it took 20 min for them to come back. By then the food was cold the sub soggy, and he brought Italian Dressing in a Packet and we ordered the House the one that comes on the combination. We were very disappointed. The person on the phone taking the order was very rude should of took all those warning and ordered somewhere else very...
