BATCH IS BACK BABY!!

After several years of this downtown location being shut down, I saw the sign that they were open again and took my boys for the first time. My wife and I used to come here after dinner in downtown slo and they had the best ice cream sandwiches and ice cream of anywhere in a the area, AND STILL DO!

The cookies are freshly made, warm, and easy to bite through with the house made creamy ice cream, they blend perfectly, and you can mix and match cookies on a sandwich, or just get cookies with milk or ice cream by themselves.

Now that this place is back, we’ll be going here exclusively for ice cream and/or cookies. Cowboy cookie, McConnell’s, and Negranti don’t even come close. I’d say Insomnia is the only thing comparable for cookies, but their ice cream isn’t as good.

One thing I hope batch brings back that they used to do but didn’t see this time: ice cream premade pucks for the cookies. Right now they’re doing scoops, but those pucks didn’t melt as fast and were perfectly shaped for the sandwiches.

If you like ice cream, or cookies ice cream sandwiches, you won’t find better than this place on the central coast, and I’d challenge you to find a better one anywhere.

First things, the pink unique door is a quirky and welcoming start to the store . When you open the door the first thing I noticed was the fun decor of the vintage antique mixers that were on display. Then I turned to the left where I was greeted by friendly staff offering samples and help with the menu. The menu is simple and you cannot go wrong they have dairy free options which is a plus but no gluten free options .y main critique for this adorable place is how the cookies are out in the window yes super cute but they were really hard when I was trying to enjoy my ice cream sandwich. This shop also offers crowd-pleaser cookies and ice cream drinks.

There is also an indoor dining area to enjoy whatever you purchase.

If you can't decide whether or not to pick a cookie or an ice cream, then there is an alternative.

The best choice is the ice cream sandwich. So now you can have your cake and eat it too.

We came here after lunch so we only tried two cookies. They were delicious, and it only cost us three dollars.

Hurry and buy some cookies at this shop! The cookies at the LAX airport are six dollars each. In Solvang, some cookie shops even charge about 8 dollars for...
