Im originally from Germany, bavaria to be exact! I was excited to see a German Biergarten but ended up pretty disappointed. Ive given this place a chance 3 times and just cant seem to enjoy it. The food is nowhere near authentic or german at all. Its not bad food, but its sad people who dont know german food think this is german now! Its definitely not in any way. The owner seems very cocky and rude, he has the “im better than everyone” attitude and it kills my vibe every time. They host an Octoberfest every year, which is cute, but sad lol The owner holds a costume contest but he has no idea what traditional german attire is! Amazon outfits will win over a good Bavarian setup! Also the food at events are WAY overpriced! I paid 21$ for ONE small dry bratwurst, 10 french fries and a tiny spoonfull of wannabe Sauerkraut. Noone at our table was full, nor did we want to pay another 21$ per plate. They also run out of drinks (besides beer). I was DD so I didnt drink, they had nothing to offer besides water from a dirty water cooler. The water had legit grass and dirt in it. Moral of the story is, dont waste your time or money here if your looking for...
Read moreHave wanted to come here for awhile and finally was able to visit for lunch. It is a small restaurant that serves great meals! Love the fact there is a German restaurant in the area. I had the Jagerschnitzel and BF had the sausage platter. The Jagerschnitzel was crispy and had a really good brown mushroom gravy on top. The potato salad was good, not over the top mayo, just right and you could really taste all the flavors in the potato salad. The sausage platter was great. Flavorful sausage on a bed of sauerkraut with a side dish of sauteed potato dumplings. Love the dumplings as well. Flavorful, just right on the salt. We also tried the German beers that went perfect with what we had. Even though the desserts sounded wonderful we were too full and decided to share a doppelback. Perfect to finish with! If you haven't been here, You need to stop in and share a platter or two! Great food for a fair price. Totally worth...
Read moreI had several bad experiences with German food in the past, and decided It just wasn't for me. After years of pleading from my coworkers to join them at this place I finally relented. All I can say is that it been a life changing experience. I absolutely love most of the things I have tried, and nothing has been off putting like past experiences. I have tried all the breaded cutlets, spicy shredded chicken pretzel sandwich, all of the sausages, and onion soup, soft pretzel, and apple strudel and they have all been great. I really like the mash potatoes, potatoes dumplings, and fried taters as well.
I'm so glad I gave this place a chance, I take back what I said about German food, but Beda's is still the Wurst, haha!
It's now one of my favorite lunch spots.
The service is always exceptionally awesome, and the venue has its...
