Terrible experience at this Subway. I wouldn't come back. The customer in front of me was charged the full price of a sub sandwich, when all she'd ordered was one scoop of tuna in a cup! And they made her wait 8 minutes at the cash register while three employees tried to figure out her bill. She felt so embarrassed that she apologized to the other customers in line. Well, then the same thing happened to me...keep reading.
I have a sub I order every single time I go to a Subway, it costs about $6. That is ALWAYS the same. I used a coupon this time, to get the same sub, and the coupon detailed a free drink and chips along with it. The order came to $10 this time. They charged my card, before telling me the price, and when I heard $10, I said "hey I don't think that's right". So, they refunded the charge, re did the whole thing, and came up with a HIGHER PRICE?! How! So again, three employees spent 8 minutes at the cash register trying to figure out the coupon. They ended up knocking off just ONE measly DOLLAR (still overcharging me by a lot!). Then, they didn't give me a drink cup, which was supposed to come with my order. I really wanted to get out of there by that point. I went to sit down and eat. I opened my sandwich. It hadn't even been wrapped, so everything fell out, especially the dressing. It was a giant inedible mess that got all over the table, my hands, face, hair, and my phone. Mustard and vinaigrette - EVERYWHERE! I had to wash my face in the bathroom! To top it all off I had to heckle with the employee making my sandwich to get more than a couple pieces of each topping. He acted really upset every time I asked for something, and kept trying to move along. Did you really think when I said "tomato" I wanted ONE SLICE of tomato?! Charged almost double, and shorted on toppings, quality, and my drink... for a MUSH MESS I waited 25 minutes for... Pick literally ANY other Subway in San Luis or nearby,...
Read moreAll Subways are around the same it depends on which subway you go to and what person you get unfortunately this was not a good experience for me at the subway only because the lady that was making my sandwich was arguing with me about bell peppers that I seen and it happens with vegetables sometimes you'll get a little soggy one in there and all I eat is vegetables I don't eat meat so when I go to Subway I love the freshness of their vegetables she was arguing with me about it being yellow I also was a prep Chef for 5 years and know when a bell pepper is soggy she threw the bell pepper away picked up another one and said see it's yellow because I said that I did not want that on my sandwich and told her to take it off and I was very polite about it and said I know I'm picky with my sandwich and blah blah blah I'm sorry but I don't want a soggy bell pepper and instead of arguing with me she could have just said okay and got the other side where it was perfectly fine but instead wanted to prove her point which you should never do if you're in customer service as a customer should be always right the only instance where the customer is not right is when they're calling you names and being a Karen which I absolutely was not doing so fortunately for me there are three other Subways I can choose from I will not be...
Read moreEvery time I've been to this particular Subway has been nothing but excellent service. I like stopping in after the lunch rush and there's almost never a wait. Their friendly smiles are always appreciated and really does feel like they enjoy trying their best at customer service. I'm always greeted with a "Hi, how you today?" Makes your lunch experience start on a positive note, in turn it's more enjoyable to eat the sub. My go to sub is a footlong Spicy Italian on Jalapeno Cheddar bread. A tip, try having a little oil and red wine vinegar put into the bread before adding the meat and cheese and followed with it toasted. I add just about all the veggies minus the lettuce (it's just filler). I also layer my dressings (creamy sarracha, ceaser and subway vinaigrette) in between adding my veggies so that they don't all ooze out when I'm taking a bite. Topped off with extra salt and extra pepper.
I really hate how customers complain on how their sub is made. It is up to you on how things are added and when they are added into your sub. They are very willing to add each ingredient as I want them added with no fuss. That way everyone is happy in the end.
Their location is also very clean.
This will continue to be my favorite local Subway and really appreciate the employees...
