Eddie's Grill — Restaurant in San Luis Obispo

Wowee! There aren't many times I get excited about a burger place, but Eddie's Grill is something special. I ordered a Bacon & Cheese Burger, no tomato with grilled onions. It was fantastic! Every bit of it, from the burger patty, bun, shredded lettuce, cheese and grilled onions was perfect. I paired it in a combo with chili cheese fries and fountian drink. The chili cheese fries were hot, the fries were flavorful and only made better by the chili and cheese. This is a place where you check your diet at the door and just come in to enjoy some real food. I learned they have several locations, one of which is Yuma, AZ, which gives me one more reason to visit family there. I would definitely eat here again. Highly...

Really solid place!! Best burger in SLO and solid honest midrange food in general. No as far as burgers go, the only place that has an edge on Eddie's is the Hotel SLO's smashburger and I'm comparing Eddie's to a fine dining establishment. Eddie's often falls under the radar but if you're local you should know it's here. Plenty of Vegan / Veggie options, great salads, excellent wraps, all at reasonable (for SLO) prices. Again that burger -- char grilled not flat-topped, great fresh toppings, real avocado and the fries are always hot, crispy and fresh. I came by since the restaurant across the way was closed for maintenance and i really wanted a burger. I ordered their cheese burger and got chilli cheese fries! The fries were DELICIOUS! Honestly best chilli cheese fries. The fries are nice and crispy, not burned not soggy but just perfect with nice chunk chilli on top with cheese! The berger was nice and light on my stomach. It's not all greasy not so messy. It taste like a home cooked burger. It's a neat, tasty burger. I wanted to get a shake but I didn't have enough room left lol. Also, they do not have fountain drink just canned/bottled beverages. Which I didn't mine because I like a nice crisp soda...
