Lovely cafe in Old farm house setting serving tasty, healthy, and well proportioned meals. You place your order inside at the counter and go find a table. When your number token is activated, you pick up your food from the service window (ingenious way of using an original sash window from the farm house!). Then you sit at picnic tables or at bar height counters to eat. The Barn tacos were the perfect amount of food - 2 street corn tortillas with scrambled eggs, roasted veggies, and a tangy chipotle aioli. Very good! Also got good reviews on the classic breakfast and the avocado toast (generous slice of what looked like homemade bread, and the avocado with some red pepper flakes for some zing). Added to our good ambiance was a low key guitar performer who did not try to overpower the open air space with sound. There were waves of people coming in for breakfast but it never felt crowded or busy so the rush was well managed by the staff. All in all, a wonderful way to spend Father's...
Read moreMy wife and I have always enjoyed breakfast at Kitchen and Vine. Today we took our 16 month old son and unfortunately gave him a few too many bites of our food with hot sauce on it. Needless to say he didn’t want any more of it. I went to the front counter and asked if they had any fruit available for the baby. One of the team from the kitchen said he had blueberries and avocado available. I said that would be great and got ready to pay. He waved his hands and said not to worry about it. He then proceeded to bring out a small cup of blueberries and half an avocado cut in to slices which our son promptly devoured. This was already after he’d provided amazing service when he first brought our food out. This level of service was completely unexpected and we could not have been more grateful to him. As I said at the beginning, we’ve always enjoyed coming here but today put us over the moon. Thank you again Kitchen and Vine team! We’ll see...
Read moreVery casual, fairly cozy vibe with some indie pop playing at a good volume, but not at all too loud. Didn't realize it was an order at the counter service style which may have brought me in sooner for a quick lunch. The breakfast burrito was insanely good. Very smoky chipotle flavor with the tortilla and sauce. Creamy, cheesy, meaty, and rich, but not overly salted or heavy with the very fluffy eggs. I don't usually go for salsa on it, but the finely minced pico was so good to sprinkle on it for some added brightness. The Arnold Palmer is worth mentioning due to the high quality flavorful tea and tangy sweet probably fresh lemonade. Affordable and friendly for its quality and quantity please support Kitchen & Vine.
Note: I have bitten one burrito half in the...
