I went today with my little sister and after a couple bites of her ice cream my sister found a long piece of blonde long hair in her ice cream, 2 seconds later I took a bite out of my ice cream and found a short piece of blonde hair i was like aint no way! my hair is brown so it wouldn't be mine. i went back to the store and told the employee that there was hair in our ice creams and he remade our ice creams, I let it slide because I felt bad and I also got my nephew a mini ice cream the second time i went, once i got home not even 10 minutes being home my nephew comes in my room and tells me there's hair in his ice cream i got so upset because how does this happen again when i just went back because of the same reason! i went back to the store again and told him there's hair in my nephews ice cream and i wanted a refund because it's nasty and i don't want my nephew eating someone's hair with his ice cream. he tells me he cant do a refund and there's nothing he can do and can't give my money back and i told him even if there was hair in my ice cream and he still told me he can't do anything about it. then i asked if i can get corporates number because that is unacceptable at all and he told me he cannot give out his bosses number and there's no corporate number . Then i told him if i call the store another day will a manager answer and he told me his manager is never there . He gave me a card with 10% off my next purchase but i'm never going back there again i'm so upset and angry that i didn't get my money back when i found hair in my ice cream, my sisters and my nephew's! Read moreI worked at this store a couple of months back right after the "new" store owner took over and was a lead full time over the summer when I was on break from school. The owners name is long but he goes by "Mac" he also has another store in Encinitas....
Anyways just settled with Mac for over a thousand dollars because he treats his employees like garbage and never let me or anyone take any breaks or lunches. Not paying me for hrs worked etc..He is obviously new to owning any business. He told me that he was pretty much pitched this business deal by some lady did the numbers an said he thought he could make some money. Idk how if he keeps doing his employees wrong I know of lots of other ppl who didn't get breaks and have been there a lot longer then I was which was about a month before I had talked to Mac explaining my unhappiness with how things were bring handled. Two days later he fired me at the end of my shift with no reason. Actually he had someone else do it lol I have never been fired on my life from anywhere but I'm not to excited about using baskin Robbins on my resume as it is.
What was most frustrating was seeing customers come in so upset because of a valid issue and complaint And then we have to tell the customer I'm sorry and we can't help them. That girl Elizabeth talking about "rigorous" training is full of it she trying real hard to get a higher position.

Read moreI am extremely frustrated with this location. I tried to resolve the issue in store, and it was not resolved to my satisfaction...sadly I am going to warn others. I stopped by to look at cakes last week and one of the workers suggested that I order online. I ordered my daughter's birthday cake over the weekend and received my email receipt that the cake would be ready afternoon of Monday the 13th. I showed up an hour later than it was supposed to be ready to give them ample time. The store worker told me they never received an online order and that their online system was not working. I explained that I had a birthday party at home and asked what I should do about that after showing him my accurate receipt. He was very nice and offered me one of their cookie pies, not for free however, and said he could order a 1/3 sheet cake to be ready at 5:30 on the 14th. My husband showed up on the 14th to pick up the cake, and the cake designer said that he had been told it was for the 15th and had not made it. My husband had a receipt stating the 14th. So, my husband had to sit there while the cake designer made our cake. The cake designer made the cake too small, but we had no choice but to take it or ask for our money back and have no cake. I am furious. No apology was given. We had planned on ordering two other cakes there this month and I have to drive an hour out of my way to go to a different store.
