Oasis Breads — Restaurant in San Marcos

A friend just received a shipment from Oasis Bread. She recently visited the Los Angeles area and found the bread at Sprouts. She loved the bread so much that she ordered some and shared a loaf with me. She was right. The bread is delicious, moist, healthy, flavorful and low carb too. She also says the customer service is second-to-none. We live in Anchorage, Alaska and we are so happy to find this extraordinary company and most delicious bread. I had purchased a loaf of the whole lotta seeds organic bread at my local grocery outlet on Long Beach blvd and willow st. I usually really enjoy this bread , I had been hiking with my loaf bread and it has acquired a smell of perfumey bananas. I read this might be a yeast issue and I would like to bring this to your attention to fix for future loafs. I have had the bread 4 days and it just now started to smell and taste like nail polish remover mixed with bananas. No difference in texture or how it looks, just this smell, I don’t know if it’s safe...

OMG! Their low carb bread is so superior to the other two local bakery low carb breads. The flavor is wonderful, the texture is not so chewy you feel you like you are eating cardboard, and it stays together like bread. The problem is that I can only find it occasionally at Major Market in Fallbrook. I hope the distribution is increased. It is truly a life saver for those of us who can't eat wheat and sugar. Fabulous!
